Re: Saudi Arabia Welcomes Trump

This makes my head explode on so many levels... Just how many levels does your head have? Did any of us, regardless of race, ever imagine the day when it would be "advantageous" to be black in this country? While you may not have imagined it, you have certainly become adroit at leveraging...

That's an interesting position. One could almost call it hypocritical. Do you generally not feel sorry for all people who make bad choices out of ignorance, or just the ones who live in the "poorest white town" in America?

You have that exactly backwards. Being sanctioned does not make a foreign state a hostile power. It's being a hostile power that may result in a state being sanctioned.

Re: Saudi Arabia Welcomes Trump

Perhaps if he was actually Muslim he thought it was irrelevant to a presidency. A person's race is also irrelevant to a presidency, but the fact that Obama is black was certainly moved front and center whenever it was advantageous. Almost certainly a person's religion is more likely to have shaped ...

Very low energy

You try hauling around almost 300 pounds of fat on very small feet and see how long you last.

I have a comment. I made the terrible mistake of actually clicking on the link and reading the entire article. That may have been the biggest pile of pseudo-scientific horse crap I've ever tried to ingest. Who the hell do I complain to to get my five minutes of life back?

Re: Let's talk about climate change

When a group of members of the American Physical Society pushed to have natural climate variability included in APS statement on climate change research, it was turned down. They recommended that only anthropogenic causes of climate change be studied. That's interesting. I assume if scientists only...

Who knows? The competition for starting spots only started two weeks ago, and there are 14 weeks remaining until the first game with Bishop Amat. Anything can happen in that time. It was also encouraging that four freshman rotated through the defensive line positions yesterday and competed very well.

Whatever the science or label people want to place on it, they're still human beings that deserve rights... Of course they do, and they have them. Just like the rest of us, they have the right to use the restroom that corresponds to their actual gender, not the confused identification that their br...

Trump is not a deep thinker... He has done well using his instincts so he continues to rely on them. Trump doesn't know how to take advice. I agree with all three statements. However, it's precisely those instincts that he relies on that are the most troubling. I don't know how many people here hav...

There are many who still believe that a person born with X and Y chromosomes, a penis, testicles, and all the secondary gender characteristics of a male is a man. The fact that his brain identifies as a woman no more makes him a woman than the man who believes he is Queen Elizabeth or Cher. Yet we c...

Yes, pretty much.

Believe it.

Unfortunately, the mentally ill have always been able to obtain firearms. What has changed since Jan. 20. Obamacare remains in effect. ...
