For those with young kids ...

Norad tracks Santa Clausevery Christmas on a Google map ...

Good to keep tabs. Last year (my childrens' last year to believe, apparently, tough the then-seven year old was expressing some doubt), we had the Norad site up on the kids computer in the toy room and they watched him go through South America before they decided he was getting too close and they should go to bed. :)

Enjoy it how ever you prefer (or not at all).

Necro-bumping because I got an email from a believer today saying that the link to the NORAD Santa Tracker was outdated. With all the hubbub lately about what Santa looks like, I thought it might be a good reminder that "The Holidays" are supposed to be a time of joy and togetherness, regardless of which holiday(s) you celebrate.

Here's the email in its (almost) entirety (The second link might be a little spammy, I don't know, but they have a good info-graphic, so what the hey. I'm just glad it wasn't telling me to cease and desist or remove a link.):

Subject:
To a Fellow Santa Advocate (Website Resource Updates)

Message:
Hello and season’s greetings,

I happened upon your website today and I see that you’re a fellow
True Believer in the magic (and science) of St. Nick. There aren’t
very many of us Santa Claus proponents these days — so I’m happy
to make your acquaintance :)

I, for one, appreciate the effort you’ve put into correcting all the
misinformation out there about Santa. To further your efforts, I
wanted to let you know about a few other websites that prove Santa’s
existence without a doubt. Perhaps you can pass them on via your site
to those nonbelievers — and perhaps also to those who want to
believe so badly, but who are dissuaded by so-called “common
sense.”

I hope you share these websites on your site to ensure that the truth
about Santa wins out. I myself intend to write a pamphlet on the
science of Santa, and would be happy to share it with you if you’re
interested.

Incidentally, I also thought I should let you know that the link on
your site to (dead link removed) is no longer
working — the current link to the NORAD Santa Tracker is
http://www.noradsanta.org/. This site is one of my favorites, as it
shows Santa’s current progress around the globe while also letting
kids explore games and movies surrounding his epic journey — so I
would hate to have the youngsters miss out on it and thought you may
want to update the link (I found the broken one on this page of your
site: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=8456).

Yours in Christmas magic,
Katie
Don't look at me, I just work here.
