Breaking Bad

Postby Notorious » Tue Sep 17, 2013 9:17 am

I just watched the last episode on Sunday, and I can't recall an episode in any drama that I enjoyed more than that episode.

I honestly think it might be the best television episode of all time. I'm trying to think back to an episode of the Wire I found better but I can't. I think they'll sweep the Emmy's with that one episode.

It absolutely was a terrific episode.....here's a good read about the script from Sunday's episode.

Mama...mama

“Breaking Bad” cut deeply Sunday: The show lost a hero. (RIP, ASAC Hank Schrader). A fan favorite was tortured. Viewers witnessed the heartbreak of a shocked son, and were torn up by a baby girl’s first words, fear and tears. An evil empire crumbled, once and for all, and a family was completely destroyed.

So many feelings. To help calm the internal chaos, “Breaking Bad” co-executive producer Moira Walley-Beckett, who wrote Sunday night’s episode, “Ozymandias” (named after the 1818 Percy Bysshe Shelley sonnet about the mighty who have fallen), talked to TODAY about the show's events.

Amazing episode in what may be the drama on TV, ever.

I'm so glad my wife turned me on to the show early in its first season. I've been hooked (pun intended) ever since.

I'm hoping the spinoff "Better Call Saul" has some good writers. Saul is a cool character, and his assistant would also be a plus.

Bob Odenkirk is fantastically funny both acting and as a writer/director so I think the show will be okay.

Probably a safe bet. He is perfect as Saul.

Saul: "Don't drink and drive, but if you do, CALL ME!!"

Gotta love Saul.

I've watched the entire series up until season 5 episode 8 as Netflix hasn't updated the final episodes..

But I have a question.. When Jessie went to that house full of meth heads.. Why did he dig the whole in the front yard? I'm stumped..

Oh yeah, and.. Can't wait for Better Call Saul, his character is brilliant =D>

Does anyone watch "Person of Interest?" The past two episodes have been some of the best writing I've seen since "Breaking Bad."

It will be interesting to see where they go with the show without Carter.
