Things that make you say Hmmmm.

Trump had bone spurs bad enough to keep him out of the military during Vietnam. He never had them surgically removed. A US military doctor recently provided a medical opinion that stated the trump was in excellent health and made no mention of said heel spurs. Hmmmmmm.

It could be that he didn’t remove his shoes for the examination. Which would explain the inch in height he seems to have gained since his Drivers License was issued.

And his height too.

His driving license issued in May 2012 lists his height as 6'2". The report issued by the White House physician on Tuesday says he's 6'3".

Here he is standing next to Obama last year...Obama is 6'1"

It's easy to pick up an inch or so by just fluffing the cotton candy a little higher.

So... the illegal-alien-loving Democrats are threatening a government shutdown unless provisions in the spending allow half of Mexico to pour over the border this weekend and Donald has plans to weekend in Florida and host a fundraising dinner. Which will it be? :mex: or :fan:?

A president who (allegedly) had an affair with a porn star telling anti-abortion marchers "We are with you all the way. May God bless you."

What a country! Where's Yakov Smirnoff when you need him?

Not sure what having a weakness for sex has to do with abortion.

Maybe it's the adulterer saying "God bless you" that some people might find a bit hard to take.

Okay, I can see that. But, even a sinner, can worship God and hope for his blessings. I know that I, being somewhat of a sex addict, hope that God will see my victim-less addiction as less of an evil than abortion, which takes a life. God bless those Right to Life marchers, which will include me and my wife on Saturday.

I would agree with you if the conservative evangelicals were as forgiving towards others as they are towards to Trump.

For three decades they have made Christian and family values a litmus test for all but the GOP. They overlook the moral failings of Republican elected officials while lambasting liberals.

Do you really believe if Obama had been found to have paid hush money to a mistress, it would be met with the same level of silence we are seeing now?

How about if Obama or Hillary had accepted the presidential nomination with five children by three different spouses?

When I hear evangelicals claim Trump is a man of honor I have to ask? Is it the numerous children by different women? The public infidelity? The screwing over the little guy?

Please tell us what about his life has been honorable.

Why is Trump excused but others are not?

Maybe this is the Evangelicals' version of the carbon credits thing.

For every policy that Trump successfully promotes which the Evangelicals agree with, Trump gets one Moral Credit to offset his Moral Footprint.

Maybe it is just an example of their situational morality that is emblematic of their hypocrisy.

Way back in 2013 Trump was asked about the shutdown.

He stated;

“I mean, problems start from the top and they have to get solved from the top and the president’s the leader. And he’s got to get everybody in a room and he’s got to lead. When they talk about the government shutdown, they’re going to be talking about the president of the United States, who the president was at that time.”

Now of course he is blaming everyone but himself.

Who even bothers to notice the hypocrisy anymore? It takes a special following to completely ignore what they heard the day, or week or year before and cheer on the exact opposite and be totally oblivious to the contradiction. That is exactly what Trump and the GOP have developed. A base who just reboot themselves every single day, tune in to Fox and Friends, and are furnished with the reality de'jour.
They told me if I voted for Hillary Clinton the president would be emotional, impulsive, and unpredictable. They were right. I voted for Hillary Clinton and got a president that is emotional, impulsive, and unpredictable.

When evangelicals accept such obvious and egregious immorality on the part of trump, how can we accept them as arbiters of that virtue?

Rather, it's more like an ethical problem that's best ignored, eh?
