Very early 2017 national football computer poll released

Postby OutOfState » Mon Apr 03, 2017 5:06 pm

Here is the link. http://calpreps.com/preview/2017/

MD, Bosco, and Cen10 are 1,2 and 4, respectively. Now a computer poll Now for next season does not mean too much. What we can take from it is that these teams are loaded... but we already know that Captain Obvious. With the transfer season not over things can stil change. De LaSalle is #12 and interestingly Edison is the next Cali team at #32.

Again we shouldn't take this poll very seriously at this point because this computer algorithm does not become very good until late in the season. Now it is based mostly on player rankings. But it does start some interesting debates :-)

olu
sm
servite

id probably move servite up and sm down. i would keep jserra at 3. md bosco will be interesting again

#-o Since it is based in part on talent lost to graduation, versus talent returning...Someone should tell them that Yes, the Friars did lose Justin Parcells to graduation...in 2015! #-o
Things under Obama got a lot worse before they started to get better – and they only started to get better after the GOP took over half of Congress and put the brakes on spending.

Last year it had jserra very high as well. Like top 5-8 in the state but they finished last in league.
This poll always has cali teams near the top.
