CIF amends transfer rule

Postby Playthegame » Wed Apr 05, 2017 4:56 pm

Free for all now...athletically motivated transfers ok...

Sit out period still in effect unless they move

Can't follow a coach

Makes sense since they did nothing anyway...

Oh boy, this should be fun.

Isn't the residential check-up left up to the athletic directors of the school in which you transfer to?

So long public schools :eh?:

Always was a bad idea to set up a system that required someone judge another's motivation - especially when it comes to one's kids.

But rather than the first 5 game rule, I'd go the ineligible for playoffs route in the first year. I think that de-incentivizes coaches from gaining a competitive advantage to win a ring, and allows the kid to play more games.
