Ted Cruz has the Answer!

Postby Professor Fate » Wed Apr 26, 2017 5:06 pm

Ted Cruz has introduced a bill to use the $14 Billion seized from El Chapo's drug operations, to fund the border wall. It's the perfect solution. $14 billion (perfect), and one purpose for the wall is to combat drug traffic, (perfect) and El Chapo and his men are Mexicans, who would then be paying for the wall, just like Trump said they would! (Perfect)!

I love it!

Did you and Ted really think that through? Who do you think he got the money from? Take your time...

Not to mention that law enforcement depends on drug seizure money for things like computers, vehicles, cameras, narcotic K9’s, additional training for officers...you would basically be subtracting it from their budgets.

NP. They can pay for all that stuff with all the revenue from the tax cuts.

Okie dokie Ted.
I'm not saying you're stupid. I'm saying you have bad luck when it comes to thinking.

Dumb post, Omar. You got your money from your employer. If I steal it, it's not your employer who loses, now is it?

Well, that would pay for about for a bit of the wall, but nowhere close to the whole thing.

Here's a fun fact straight out of Trump's administration--once in place, the wall will cost about $150,000,000 per year to maintain. Not patrol and enforce--simple maintenance and repair.

Is it just a coincidence that the money we will spend on the bullet train boondoggle would more than pay for the border wall boondoggle? I guess which wet dream you prefer just depends on your politics.

If Trump steals it it's not Mexico who loses, it's US State and Federal law enforcement, who did the work, who lose...BIG time

Wrong again Omar. The wall would be assisting the federal law enforcement. Anxiously awaiting your next weak post, Omar.

Don't get angry, just put a little more thought into it next time...

Trump promised Mexico would pay for the wall, but you propose he steal the money from US law enforcement...unless they volunteered to pay the $14 billion...did I miss that part?

Therein lies the issue. It was promised Mexico would pay for the wall.

Trump's supporters have completely forgotten about that aspect.

I have to give him credit for getting his followers to forget that point and embrace the notion that we Americans should buy something that is worthless.

1. In the interests of accuracy, my ancestors all lived across the Atlantic and had no knowledge or appreciation of the American highway or railroad systems, boondoggle or otherwise.

2. If you equate a 400-mile, $100+ billion mixed rail system that is projected to average 70 mph to our interstate highway system and transcontinental railroads, I have a broken down dirt bike in my garage you can have for only $20,000. Deal?
