BSN Sports (the All Mater Dei team) won the Best of the West Championship. They beat the No 1 seed twice , No. 2 and No. 3 seeds to win it all. They won all there games played. JT Daniels was named MVP, but Amonra St. Brown and Cj Parks could have easily been MVPs as well. Thats how good they played. Parks also made three interceptions on defense. There defense played really well.

The bottom line is MD still won it. Who was the 1st. 2nd & 3rd seeded teams ahead of MD in the
tourney? The other teams were make ups of various players from other teams?

Not true. Mater Dei was leading 15-8 before that TD on the last play.

it was MD All Star team (players from different counties) vs All Star teams (players from different teams)

Nice try.

Yes. The Best Of The West finals is a tournament made up of the best 7-on-7 teams that qualified in one of six regional tournaments held in California, Arizona and Oregon. Sunday brought together the Mater Dei team and 15 club all-star teams from those tournaments. Mater Dei became the first high school team in the ten-year history of the event to win the finals tournament.

That play was from the exhibition play in the morning. The played the same team for the final, but did not need the last play to win it all. The two games in the morning didn't affect seeding in the afternoon. The seeds were all ready determined.

No.2 seed was ProWay and No 3 Seed was GroundZero... GroundZero and Proway usually wins all the tournaments.

ProWay QB was Cameron Rising, from Newbury Park, committed to Oklahoma, but recently de committed, off the top of my head.. WR Manuel Allen, CC or Corona, Nebraska commit, DB Chris Steele from Bosco, multiple offers, WR Johnny Wilson, Calabasas, also play..

Also for GroundZero QB was Bryce Young from Cathedral, DB Jaiden Woodbey Bosco Ohio State commit, DB Jay Criddell from Rancho Cucamonga, Oregon, Nebraska offers, WR John Jackson from Serra,
