I am really looking forward to see what SM does with Norwood and M&M...would love to see them Run and Gun just not on September 22nd...

Malone Mataele...This kid is elusive and has instant speed...truly one of the scariest break away guys I saw last year and reminded me of Rancho Cook return guys two years ago, RR would know names, I just remember the cuts, the dudes could burn you...

Albano calls Norwood talented dual threat guy...lights? Anybody see him play? Could be a potent combo... Any indications, looks in 7v7.

Does SM have the Fronts? Will they hold the 3 spot?

I think SM is going to take 3rd in league and Malone is definitely a stud. Servite and OLU does not have the LB"s and Dlineman to stop the run. I also heard that Jserra lost a few defensive players to the transfer game.

Took me awhile to decipher the "Rita" reference kept thinking of Lovely Rita Meter Maid. So by the same reference is MD just Dei and poor Servite can't get much shorter.

Rita is too hard for people to decipher, I didn't get it either. As long as people remember the Lord Of The Rings, nothing will ever top the SMEagles.

PTG,
Norwood, newly aquired from TROY, I said Troy, D-20 or something?
The kid is a athlete, but no EB3! His legs are his main asset. When you play against MV and Trinity league teams, you better be able to do both well. Mission will stop the run and force SM to throw, beat us throwing the ball. With Regulators in the defensive secondary for MV, it isnt happening.

PTG,
Also, just checking.... Is Jamari Farrel RB for MV still there??? I know he was going to be a JR. Or is Chris Mitchell going to take over the running back duties? If so, Who will play corner now?

MV is the least of SM problems this season. They actually have a chance in that game. Top half of the Trinity should be the goal. MD and SJB, no chance. Keep it vanilla and try to stay healthy. Olu, Servite, and JSerra should be the focus.

With the recent HC hires from OLU and JSerra which were promotions in house you'd have to wonder if they just gave up on the Trinity League race

I guess for some it was a real chore, hence I specifically referred to SM in the original post...

Not sure why you would take Dei over MD it is already shorter but to each his own.

Rita is quicker than SMEagles to say and type and I know the name is Rita cause the perfume is smelling sweetah with Norwood and Mataele they will burn a few but right now the fronts are where Rita needs to put her attention.

Lights has a point about the game on the 22nd, I do not see how Rita gets past the lock downs and stud LB's and will not be able to stop the Yellen Express with OG, OZ and I got to believe R.Kennedy gets in the act with his speed...with that kind of speed he should at least get's some action. His position is D "S" though on roster maybe by design...Trixy those Diablos are!

Jamari Ferral is on the roster, MV will run different packages using the likes of Dossey and Lavalle, Ferral and Mitchel as well they will rotate to scheme.

Of the 7v7 tape I saw with Yellen, reminds me of Rothlesburger on HS scale, MV will be able to shoot and run behind good size Oline led by JPat and good crew of seasoned returners, Redman and Rodriques to name a few.

Deep threat speed and accuracy will be hard to defend which will open up run. This MV team is quietly aiming for a semi final appearance or better...they do not have the depth of MD but if they are healthy they will be trouble for all..

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume your musing is rhetorical. I'd guess OLU and JSerra will battle SM for 3rd place in League.

Does that mean that Servite is not a contender for the now vaunted 3 spot ?

Oh, well sure... Let's call them a contender. Heck, they may be in line for finishing higher, what with MD graduating everyone on the defensive side of the ball.

Very quietly aiming.

The need to pray for a #4 seed, and that MD, SJB, Centennial end up in different brackets (and hope that Rancho Cuc doesn't make the playoffs.)

Sorry I had trouble deciphering the "postby" templar83...perhaps contention was implied...boy I hope I got the imply and infer order correct...

Most likely...Only two will be in the opposite bracket, either MD or SJB will be league one and CC will be league one unless Norco beats them...

Cook graduated most of their talent and will be a shell of last two years teams, no contest.

MV will be #3 or #4 seed...my prediction, Open Sandwich or Wing joint 20 pak for any takers, RR double or nothing!

We agree on one thing...Quietly aiming!

50 years old and a movie classic..COOL HAND LUKE

"The quotation used by the prison warden (Strother Martin) in the film, which begins with "What we've got here is failure to communicate," was listed at No. 11 on the American Film Institute's list of the 100 most memorable movie lines."
