Science on FOX News

Postby Fordama » Mon Sep 18, 2017 8:35 pm

This is what the science editor at the FOX News website was worthy of an article in their science section:

Biblical prophecy claims the world will end on Sept. 23, Christian numerologists claim

Published September 15, 2017 Fox News

A Christian numerologist claims that the world will end next Saturday when a planet will, supposedly, collide with Earth.

According to Christian numerologist David Meade, verses in Luke 21:25 to 26 are the sign that recent events, such as the recent solar eclipse and Hurricane Harvey, are signs of the apocalypse.

The verses read:

“25: There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken.'

Not science (and not Christian while we're at it) but someone thought it was.

This is your brother's fault JQP, for crashing Cassini into Saturn. The nuclear material on board mixed with unknown gasses on Saturn, and the resulting explosion has sent Saturn hurtling towards Earth and will kill us all!
Things under Obama got a lot worse before they started to get better – and they only started to get better after the GOP took over half of Congress and put the brakes on spending.

Geezz....not again. One more example of religion doing more harm than good.
I'm not saying you're stupid. I'm saying you have bad luck when it comes to thinking.

We only started hearing about fake news when we elected a fake president.

Sorry for the inconvenience. The apocalypse has been rescheduled to begin on October 15th and will be phased in over a seven year period.

“Hold on and watch — wait until the middle of October and I don’t believe you’ll be disappointed,” Meade wrote, before going on to promote his book, which he claims has all the details.

“You don’t have long to read it,” he added.
