Crean Lutheran /Irvine

Postby hit the lights » Sun Jan 21, 2018 10:02 am

Can Crean Lutheran become a destination school? The Saints are a fairly new school in Irvine California.
The city of Irvine is rich with kids and schools. This past year,
Beckman 1-9
Uni- 6-4
Irvine- 6-4
Northwood- 2-8
Woodbridge- 8-4
Crean- 6-5
Where are all the kids in Irvine? It doesnt look like teams are too dominate, maybe because its watered down with places to go?
With Crean, you might be able to just take in the cream of the crops., with a good education and beautiful new facilities. Its also not too far from John Wayne airport in case you need to bring in a ringer from Florida or Texas.
If Troy Thomas decides not to take the job and go to Jesrra with Harlow, it might be because he thought it was Creatine Lutheran, not Crean. The city of Irvine could get real interesting, real quick.
Will Crean turn into a destination school? :eh?:

Well it's around 50% Asian I think. That's not a winning formula to win football games. I have also heard the good athletes go to privates in basketball and football at least. I do recall a few MD basketall players living in Irvine

It depends on how you define the term. In girls swimming they already are, as the school has won more CIF team championships in that sport than any Orange County school other than Mission Viejo, Irvine and Brea and attracts many top club and national swimmers.

It's just a matter of time...Beautiful campus in a beautiful neighborhood...Give it time and it'll be the Lutheran version of JSerra...

They built their Baseball/Softball Complex down the street...I'm pretty sure they can follow the same game plan for any future expansion
