Re: Servite's Larry Toner finally retires...

Cruiser, thanks for posting that breakdown. I hope it helps to dispel some myths. Also probably surprising to most people is where the school's football players come from. For the 2019 team: 16 - Santa Ana 11 - Newport Beach 8 - Irvine 7 - Costa Mesa 6 - Huntington Beach 5 - Anaheim 5 - Orange All o...

Re: Servite's Larry Toner finally retires...

Daddyooo, that sounds about right.

And when WantTheNFLBack714 says, "Very few MD students are Santa Ana residents", he is 100% wrong. Every year since the school opened, it has had more students from Santa Ana than from any other city. The same is true of the football team.

Re: MD LOSES MVP

Much like the thread about Elias Ricks, this one has been populated largely by people who don’t know what they’re talking about. Only Al Koholik and Kingspeed have any firsthand experience with Coach Rollinson, Scot Prohaska and the Mater Dei sports environment, one because he was an assistant varsi...

Re: Transfer News? It’s that time of year again!

When it comes to Elias Ricks, nobody on this thread knows what they're talking about or what is really going on. So all this speculation is pretty pathetic, and maybe you should all just give it a rest.

Re: Illegal immigration: wrong then, wrong now

Speaking of trains...have you read anywhere but Fox and right leaning outlets about some new congresswoman going on record saying she'd be running train with her progressive agenda? Me neither. Apparently, only right-wing pundits are having a problem with this. Sorry, I don't read or listen to Fox ...

The only ones who will benefit from a private built wall are all the consultants that will be required. That group will love cashing the checks from the fools who contributed to the GoFundMe account. By any chance, are those the same consultants who are cashing the checks from the fools that contri...

I don't know how your parents brought you up, but mine taught me it's never a good idea to insult your host. Especially not a good idea when said host doesn't think real highly of your overall attitude and he has a "Ban" button. Have a nice evening, as they say. Whoa, whoa, whoa, John. Th...

Re: Illegal immigration: wrong then, wrong now

LOL. Factoid: There was once a wall where all those people are standing in the picture up above (hence "Wall" St.). It didn't work. The British invaded by sea. Yes, they did. And if all those Central American "asylum seekers" had the largest, most powerful navy in the world, you...

Re: Caravan camps in Pelosi's Yard.

My guess is she's had that wall around her home a lot longer than she's been second in line for the presidency. Besides, if walls are ineffective in keeping people out, they're even more ineffective against "partisan loons" shooting over them.

Re: CIF-SS committee will look at potential changes to transfer rules 2019

Yes, you need to move out of the attendance area of the public school in which you reside and into the attendance area of a new pubic school. Even if you lived across the street from Servite while attending OLu, you would have to move out of your current public high school attendance area (which I a...

Re: CIF-SS committee will look at potential changes to transfer rules 2019

Professor, the last five kids that transferred from Mater Dei to Servite didn't make permanent changes of residence and kind of scammed the system, so you might show a little more restraint with your jabs.

Re: CIF-SS committee will look at potential changes to transfer rules 2019

At first glance, this proposal seems like a good example of the bureaucratic way to not solve a problem. Right now, families and schools verify "change of residence" however they want, and the new proposal would require them to use a checklist. Oh my God, a checklist. So the same parties t...
