Re: Top track times through March 11

Bosco had a bad final exchange at South County and did not finish the race. They will be ok but lost Toler to football. Frankly they could have had a state contender and may still. Were they healthy last year the 4x1 would have won state in my opinion. 40.96 and would have been better in Clovis. Lea...

Re: Top track times through March 11

He is a soccer player so not likely to get him for football, though I am sure he will be recruited. Note soccer, particularly for club ahtletes, is very stingy and have to assume he is skipping some for track. Thank goodness as he will be quite good considering his launch point as a frosh.

Re: O.C. Wrestling

Servite wrestling has one of the best coaches in CIF and nationally for that matter and the program reflects it. Other schools outside of Bosco have too many clubs, 7 on 7, or special trainers who poach and discourage multisports. Though Bosco and Servite also fight the same the coaches their overco...

Whatever you want to say about it is your prerogative, however, it was a good win for Servite and clearly an exciting game to attend. Congrats Friars, your fire burns,

Re: Trnity League in the NFL

Matt will likely be in the league for many more years. How important is it to ha e a back up QB x2 on all teams Becomes very apparent as the season grinds. MCL is not near the injury it once was with modern medical interventions. I see the over under for Matt at least 5 more barring catastrophic inj...

Re: Bosco vs Mater Dei

I have coached at MD since 2000 and they have won multiple national championships in cheer. The cheer squads are always one of the top sports at MD and very competitive to make the team. Lots of those cheer athletes have won CIF titles in track. Making cheer a CIF sport will simply give those teams ...

Re: Mater Dei Brings Thug Ball to Orange County

As Catholics we may want to pump our brakes a bit when pointing out indescrectiins if others. We have a lot of shame as a church with far greater crimes tthan what is being debated about some adolescents. Not a pass but perspective. Frankly I am very ashamed of how we handled the issues as a church....

Re: OC Track and Field Championships

Yes, we indeed did win state with those 2 and a relay. But we covered 5 of 16 events and scored in 4 of five. We won CIF and Masters however with scoring also in both relays and 2 pole vaulters. As you move to each level dual, league, CIF, Masters and State due to the number of entries from a larger...
