Re: Are We Headed to a Split Decision?

I have read other sites that shows Romney winning the electoral votes. If it is truly a tie, the House would vote for the president and the Senate would vote for the VEEP. Romney/Biden. Biden would then wash dishes. BTW, New York Times? Really? Although what you say about the Senate voting for Bide...

We have Div II and Div III colleges here in the local area and the University of Minnesota 65 miles from us. Were not too sure what the U gives as it doesn't seem to work! How the heck is a golden gopher supposed to scare or attract anyone? Minnesota State Screaming Eagles are the team to watch. Ho...

Re: The Undoing of Storybook Man

Now, with less than two weeks away from Romney's election as President, perhaps it's time to revisit Obama's failure to persuade Hilary Clinton to replace Joe Biden as his vice-presidential running mate. Oh, what objections and ridicule toward such a suggestion eminated from many quarters on this bo...

Re: Another Obama failure!

You guys crack me up! I told you a long time ago that Romney would be the candidate, and that he'd eventually win the election. As I also said before, Romney's a stealth severe conservative. His entire Mass. governorship was a a vehicle toward presidential electibility - a necessary "moderate" facad...

You could ask if Lil Mrs still refers to Ramon as "Lil". And make sure to do it after he buys you the most expensive drink in the house.

Unbelievable. Say it ain't so, Max! How could Edison do this to my beloved Alma Mater?
Apparently Newport lacks size, speed and smarts.
What this thread really needs is a recap by White-Shoes Theriot of the infamous Billy-Ball game.

Re: Obama has no plan

How many Obama voters do you think Romney won over last night? My statement said " former Obama voters", which you none-too-cleverly revised in your question. Though I firmly believe that fewer people will vote for Obama in this election, I'm willing to wait to see. You seem overly anxious to find ...

This is the statement you're attempting to support: And many are now blaming the moderator for Obama's pathetic performance. Can you show me where anyone has blamed the moderator for Obama's performance? I realize several people, here and elsewhere, have noted Lehrer's poor performance as a moderat...

I am surprised that conservatives are still supporting him given his policy changes since even last month As opposed to the alternative? Yep . . . conservatives should just move on over to the Obama camp? And still, the humor continues. All this board needs now is for kicks to come back and tell th...

Re: Obama has no plan

I know conservatives don't have very long memories. I remember back in 2004, how happy liberals were after watching Kerry kick Bush's ass in the first debate. It went down hill from there. Way to double-down on your "wait till election day" assessment of the debate! Actually, all of our memories ar...

But these are not the sensible arguments that Mitt Romney made at a fund-raiser earlier this year. Romney, who criticizes President Obama for dividing the nation, divided the nation into two groups: the makers and the moochers."[/i] I side with the advocate for makers, while you, crayegg, somelo, a...

Re: This can't help

At least their is 47 percent not being sucked by the system. Maybe we can push that number up to 50 percent or higher, especially considering the corporate bailouts Paul Ryan and others pushed on us. Would that include the same "bailout" that Obama touts for the auto industry - the one that Romney ...

It's unsettling that 47% pay no federal income tax. It's such free-loaders that are stout Obama supporters. You must be proud of your crowd. GET I...

Re: Servite vs. Edison

Although still a great OC Football rivalry, this year's edition of Friars vs. Chargers has lost some of it's luster. Servite is fielding, IMO, it's weakest team in the Thomas era and frankly has not looked good through 2 games. The line play on both sides of the ball continues to be a problem and y...

Re: NAACP boos Romney

I don't see how the NAACP could honestly view the Obama Administration as representing advancement for its members. Having surrounding himself with people like Valerie Jarrett, Joe Biden and Rahm Emanuel, while spurning and denying his mentor, Reverand Wright, must really play well to that audience....
