Re: Bosco vs San Clemente

As a graduate and ex football player at SJB I would like to apologize to the San Clemente fans for what I witnessed last night. The unsportsmanship, arrogance, complete disregard for gamesmanship and showboating displayed by the team was utterly embarrassing. The coaching staff is ultimately to blam...

Re: Mater Dei vs. St John Bosco, Round-table discussion

Mater Dei fans crack me up. The sense of entitlement in incredible. So they lose a game to SJB but of course it is not due to the fact that they lost to a better team or were physically outplayed, it is always because: 1. "We beat ourselves." 2. "look, even 'The Register' says so….&qu...

Re: Servite closes all practices

This is fascinating. Who are the parents that are causing the issues at practice?

Re: SJB/Central Catholic game - B. Gorman/Centennial Corona

I agree that Bosco was flat last night. Central Catholic came out to play and they sure had some studs on both sides of the ball. Scarlett, Rust and the QB Dack will surely be playing on Saturdays. They played great, solid hard-nosed football and gave the Defense all they could handle for the first ...

Re: How will St John Bosco do against Gorman?

BG will not be able to stop Bosco's multifaceted offense. Hopefully the Brave's defense can step up and stop them a couple of times. After seeing the Servite/BG game, the Gaels are definitively beatable.

Re: Bosco #1 in the nation this week?

I flew in a bit early for Thanksgiving to see the boys play Tesoro last week. I was impressed with the second half effort of the D in shutting down some great athletes like FB Tago and the QB Adam. The Offense coming to life was amazing to see. Hopefully this week they won't wait so long and play a ...

As an SJB graduate and a USMC Officer who did 2 tours in Iraq and Afghanistan I am proud to shout "......and the home of the BRAVE" at the start of every Bosco game. Good luck against the monarchs tomorrow boys from North Carolina!
