Re: New California law AB5

This law is a monster.

The law firm I work for is giving seminars to all the businesses freaking out over it. The law is going to be instantly litigated so will probably be put on hold for some time as the many, many court cases are processed.

Absolutely concur.

No rush, in my opinion, it's presently working good enough.

I've had a whale blow like that right next to me at the rail of an anchored fishing boat.

Re: Whistle blower vs Privilege

And speaking of whistle blowers, I'm just finishing up Edward Snowden's book Permanent Record.

Fascinating stuff. And scary when you get into the details of NSA and CIA's mass surveillance programs.

It cemented my opinion that Snowden is a legitimate whistle blower, not a traitor.

Re: Will Hillary Clinton jump into the race?

Personally I think I'm over Joe. His big appeal was he appeared to be the "safest" candidate to beat Trump, but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore.

With Trump's implosion, I'm more inclined to give more weight to the policies of each candidate, rather than just who can beat Trump.
