No doubt in my mind - Carson Palmer.

Re: JSerra - Servite

2002Tony, I am sure that your timeline is pretty accurate. However, Thomas' contract was up and, from my understanding, there were no talks going on to renew. I heard (from a reliable source) that Thomas had made some salary demands that Servite was not interested in meeting. Don't know for sure, as...

Re: JSerra - Servite

MDDad, No one is talking about eating their young. I referred to those (or he) that is feeding our young. The coach. Scott Meyer is a good guy. He's a good coach at lower levers. Just not up to the challenges of this league. Has no ability/inclination to adjust game plan when required. Last Friday w...

Re: JSerra - Servite

I never implied that TT left on his own. Administration did not like the independent fiefdom that he made. He had policies that were not in line with stated policies. i.e. he did not do grade checks to determine if the starting player(s) was academically under achieving. His program did not mesh wel...

Re: JSerra - Servite

I believe that Servite was interested in Mazzotta last time around but he was happy to stay at LH. Hartigan was a serious contender when Troy Thomas was selected. Troy Thomas was not a good fit at Servite. Good coach. Good teams, but he was not a team player with the rest of the Servite program. It'...

Luca:

Totally agree. But I do imply that there should be a coaching change.

Re: JSerra - Servite

I disagree. TJ has the ability, he just needs an o-line to block for him. Those JSerra guys were in the Servite backfield almost before TJ got his hands on the snap. Agree also with an earlier post that suggested putting a play-maker in at running back. Maybe McDuffie. Maybe Toler. Hernandez plays h...

Re: Mater Dei Brings Thug Ball to Orange County

Al: You're right that good grades and multiple foreign languages don't necessarily mean that a kid cannot be a thug. Unless something has occurred in the recent couple of years since Amon left Credoland and went to MD, he's a great kid. I met him a couple of times at Servite and he was always courte...

Re: Mater Dei Brings Thug Ball to Orange County

Mr. Brown has always been a dumb-ass dad. Attention whore. Amon-Ra is a great kid who did what dad told him to do and now catches the heat for it. Dad needs to grow up a bit and stop living through his sons.

Re: Mass Exodus in Credo Land?

There is no "mass exodus" at Servite. One or two may leave, apparently one already did, but one or two or three will also come. The exodus is not limited to Servite. MD has the same issues. Vito Legoleo left and enrolled at Bosco. Others may follow. Several MD quarterbacks have left and gone to Edis...
