Re: Fact checker concludes that Obama claim is false

“If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you’ve got a business, you didn’t bu...

Re: CNN's King/Gergen: Obama's Lying, Romney/Bain Honest

Wait, what? You want Obama to apologize? Isn't that a sign of weakness? Isn't one of your complaints about Obama that he apologizes way too much? CONTEXT, buddy .... context. Obama blames the U.S. for the worlds ills and, so, apologizes to everyone for something we do not and should not own. OTOH, ...

Yes, I do...but only when they act like an angry 10-year-old. For example, when they play childish games with someone's screen name. My SN is Vilepagan...one word...and it's just a name. Out of curiosity, is your SN GOODave or GOO Dave? Does it have some underlying meaning, or is it just a SN? It h...

Re: Fact checker concludes that Obama claim is false

Now THIS guy is twisted: There is a huge leap from "you had help" to "you didn't build your business, someone else did." From Fox News : “If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable ...

No threats. I will point out that if you continue to act like an angry ten-year old you might end up getting a warning. There's little for you to gain by posting silly pics and juvenile insults except to make yourself look foolish. Your choice of course. An overbearing, puerile poster who chose a s...

Re: The "Swiftboating" of Mitt Romney

But I am amused as hell to see the Right getting so upset about the Democrats trying their hand at something that's practically become a way of life for Republicans. Wow... Partisan blinders much? Did you happen to see the clip of how the states are getting around the "buy american" laws to hire Ch...

Re: Fact checker concludes that Obama claim is false

Speaking of false claims made by Obama, he stood in front of that bridge and gave a speech proclaiming we should "Send American Workers back to work" ... So what do the states do to support him? Hire Chinese companies to do the work, instead! regardless of your political ideology, this should outrag...

Re: 116 days until you vote for a POTUS.

Nor should he be. Conservatives are always saying he is in over his head. Yet they are now complaining how badly they're getting beat up. What he is doing is forcing his opponent to be constantly explaining. When one is explaining during a political campaign, one is losing. What exactly is Romney e...

Re: CNS News: Debt increased by $64,000 per taxpayer under O

That's what's needed when one inherits a fiscal disaster. Conservatives have yet to put forth an alternative that actually works. Austerity has been tried in several countries, only making things worse. See, this is what happens when you don't quote the person to whom you're responding: Red said Ob...

I'm not surprised you would make a pathetic comment like that. The man had a seizure. Let's hope you're never afflicted in such a manner that people you don't like make fun of you. The Soon-to-be ex-commerce secretary doesn't like Red? How 'bout that: I didn't even know he knew 'im. (the humor in y...

Re: "Freeloaders"

Why? Our conservatives are more intent on driving a black man from the White House than supporting legislation or anything else Obama does. Unless I miss my guess, Paul just accused Red, me, Al, Kramer, Bobby G, and a host of other community members of being racist. Taking odds that Paul got a warn...

Re: With all due respect Mr. President……

Speaking of "due respect" apparently neither the president nor his wife have any for the American Flag: [BBvideo 425,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tcehz0nd1kE[/BBvideo] Can't figure out what she said? "All this for a flag." at a celebration for 9/11 victims... and the president nodded agreement...

I wouldn't be too hard on Harry.

Okay. Lets say that Mr Romney will end up being the GOP nominee. Who for VP? Senator Marco Rubio. Hispanic from a big state. 4-1 Senator Ron Paul. Or maybe Fed chairman. 5-1 Mayor Rudy Giuliani. Americas Mayor. Can he make New York a red state? 5-1 Governor Sarah Palin. The rights pin up girl. IMO ...

Re: NAACP boos Romney

One of the smartest moves a candidate has made in recent memories: Romney speaks to the NAACP convention, Obama sends his underlings out. Romney treats them like adults, Obama takes them for granted. Romney delivers the same speech, with the same inflections and affectations he uses for ANY audience...

Moving the goal line. Conservatives have criticized the president for using a teleprompter regardless of the circumstance. They believed he was not capable of speaking extemporaneously. Soooo......they invited him to their retreat in VA a couple years back for a televised Q & A. He ended up making ...

I got warned and banned for a week for something I considered an abuse of power and a made-up infraction. I'm sure "they" had their reasoning, but it's not at all clear to me. Anyway, I'm not sticking around: I stopped in just to make sure the ban was lifted, but I'm boycotting for awhile in protest...

Congratulations to Mark Trumbo who came in third, last night, in the Home Run Derby. He actually tied with Jose Bautista with 13 HR's in the first two rounds, but then lost the slug-off to Bautista who went on to the final round against Prince Fielder. Fielder won it again (2nd year in a row)... But...
