Re: Congress passes a significant jobs bill

I'm sorry Trog, I really don't know what else to say about an argument that's as absurd as that one. It boggles the mind that this is what passes for intelligent political debate with some people. Just an observation: All of you are taking exception to Trog or his argument, personally: Not one of y...

Re: With all due respect Mr. President……

You might be right. When I read publications by the CATO Institute I always ask if they show an example of where a society or a nation has embraced their ideal of what government should be and are the citizens of that nation better off than we are here in America. I've yet to find that example. But...

Re: Chicago to decriminalize pot August 4

Good for Chicago. Now maybe some wise Illinois politician will realize the vast potential for revenue through legalizing the weed for adults and taxing its sale...the pols are still scared stiff to jump on the big-profit marijuana bandwagon. Why is this? :eh?: High Times Because, CONTRARY to what m...

Was what supposed to be a joke? IF you are talking about me quoting his statement prior to asking my question, that is EXACTLY why I stated "in [his] opinion." YOU and vile have laid down the fiat that [all] readers should know (the old and tired "common sense" crap) this response goes to that state...

Re: The truth about the 'fast and furious'scandal

Regardless of what it "sounds like" to you, the people investigating this affair have stated publicly that they have no evidence of any wrongdoing by Holder or anyone else in the Obama administration. That's a fact, not an opinion, and would seem to undercut your claim that Holder "provided the mea...

He provided the means to kill agent Terry. That certainly sounds like an accomplice to me.

So your statement was inaccurate, and now it's been corrected. That's all. You're wrong and even YOU know it. You said [my statement] was only one way... so my statement was not inaccurate at all, it was incomplete from your perspective but I was not responding to you, I was responding to JQP and t...

Well, heh, heh, the trouble with you is, you linked to a post that you had deleted (hence, my request for clarification: Since you said I'd "never learn," I only wanted to know what I was supposed to learn...). I only ask for clarification when I don't know what the hell you're talking about (which ...

Re: Now that Obama care has passed it final hurdle

Sarah Palin reports in on the issue. “Obama promised the American people this wasn’t a tax and that he’d never raise taxes on anyone making less than $250,000,” wrote Palin. “We now see that this is the largest tax increase in history. It will slam every business owner and every one of the 50% of A...

No, one does not have to assume that the information given is correct. I don't believe it the way the information is presented. I believe they probably had to sit through some training sessions they don't agree with. I do not believe they have been ordered to run and hide and throw things. That's j...

Holder's whiny speech after was hard to listen to. He is a lying snake and should resign. He doesn't have the integrity to head up the Justice Dept. I completely agree, Bev. Re: 75% OF Obamacare COSTS TO BE PAID BY THOSE MAKING < $120

We're paying the costs for the uninsured now. One of many flaws in the anti ACA argument is the uninsured who refuse to get insurance are either not getting care or their care is free. Those paying for health care are paying for the free loaders now. So, then, how is it that "people die or go broke...
