Peanut butter on celery! I'm addicted.
That's funny. I hadn't eaten that for about 20 years, and I, too, started back on them just a few weeks ago. I like mine with chunky.

At first glance, 7 and 15 for sure. Lots of specially-cut video clips and manipulated numbers, me thinks.

He cheated! Period! Besides, anybody that dates sheryl crow is a jerk. Remember her? The one that said we should all wipe our butts with one sheet of toilet paper to save the earth. Sorry MDDDad, got no use for them. Besides, how do we know the drugs he was cheating with didn't cause the cancer? Cl...

Interesting list. Much of those seem to be accurate, though many are not.

Re: Servite's Andrew Moore

4.87 for a soph and 4.92 for a freshman are not horrible times. Those should come down significantly over the next 2-3 years anyway. Matt Slater barely broke 5 seconds as a freshman, and that was hand timed. I think it's one of the most overhyped measures of performance in all of sports. Something I...

I was obviously exaggerating, but their offense should only need about 90 seconds per drive.

Re: 2012 Trinity League Projected Finish

Loaded with unproven lower division players and an unproven quarterback...if the Friars would like to keep SM's offense off the field at some point, they're going to need to figure out their line situation in a hurry. Having said that, Troy Thomas does find a way to win. This will be his biggest ch...

Re: 2012 Trinity League Projected Finish

I've got it: SMCHS at 5-0 Servite, MD, and Bosco will fight it out for 2nd. Servite, and MD I think, are the home teams for their games with Bosco. MD and Bosco have gotten very good transfers in, Servite, of course hasn't. Bosco supposedly has the best lines of the three, and MD the most experienc...

As they did the year before. And so did Mater Dei's freshmen the last 4-5 years. It means nothing.

Re: 2012 Trinity League Projected Finish

How is it that Servite is in the consensus top two or three, when they have so few starters returning and at least as many questions as anyone? They obviously won't be getting any transfers and their lower level teams have for the most part been middle of the road. I'm not sure I'm seeing it. Tell ...

Will there be a participation trophy or a consolation prize? God forbid somebody's child be told they aren't the greatest.

Re: 2012 SERVITE FOOTBALL 250.00 FOR FRESHMAN TRYOUTS NO REF

Unfortunately, it is probably necessary. Do you know how hard it is for six coaches to work with 130 players? That's just too many kids. With some positions (WRs and DBs mainly) having 30 players, most kids will only get a maximum of 3 plays per game, anyway. The practices are tough. During 7 or 11 ...

Re: Post Your Favorite Team's 2012 Schedule and Discuss

Just saw Edison's 2012 schedule. After Garfield, who is a scrappy club, they go Villa Park (12-1), Servite, MD and San Clemente. Gotta be the toughest public school schedule out there??? If they come out of that gauntlet relatively healthy they will be well prepared to compete for another Sunset ti...
