Re: Opinion: Anti-Christian Bigots Prey on Tebow

I like winners no matter the reason. That's because you're a bandwagoner. But that has nothing to do with Christians, just has to do with you being a poor sports fan. You want to know what makes a poor sports fan? 1. A guy who bags on his high school football coach because he wasn't a star. 2. A gu...

Re: Record-Breaking-Kicks Came the Hard Way for McGrory

It is special to see good come John McGrory's way. It was not easy for a young man such as him, but his success has been a blessing to all who know and love him. So for his mom, " Well done, Son." Great article written by Martin Henderson, one of the truly good high school sports writers in souther...

Re: Dayne Crist Leaving Notre Dame

Manti Te'o announced he will be returning for his senior season with the Fighting Irish next year.....Also looks like Crist may join Weis at Kansas There's good reason why Te'o is staying at Notre Dame. His pro-rating is low. Much like Galippo. Some mobile linebackers put on bulk to play in the mid...

C'mon man! Word your remarks so they're clear and make sense.

The male prostate is related to on the street as a gland, not an organ and has nothing to do with character.

You must've had a point to make?

Re: Official OCHS Football Pool Top-10 - CIF SS Finals

I was staring at the Top-10 and YTD I put together today. Sad really that’s all I have to do. Anyway, if you take a look you’ll notice that GoBruins and Crayegg both missed picking one week and both are still in the Year-to-Date Top-10 and both have picked near 80% for the year with GoBruins a hair...

Defense: Aaron Porter, LB - La Habra

Book it, Stevie!

Amazing! Defense wins championships... Offense provides the opportunity. Few in these parts have seen a more dominating offensive line. Imagine 9 of 11 starters on offense return.

Re: Southwest Championship - Tustin vs. El Toro

Myron was five for five on fourth-down plays. One or two stops would've put the Mustangs in a different position with a short field. Was impressed with the Tillers' defensive pressure and the push of the offensive line in Q4. Today the brute force of the double-wing finally paid off with a solid def...

Re: UCLA Hires Jim Mora Jr.

Mora was the first candidate to contact UCLA about the job and the last to be considered.

I'm reminded of the title of The Monkees' 1966 hit song with an appropriate metaphorical ending:

"Take The Last Train To Darksville."

Corona del Mar CIF-SS champs

Beckman scored with seconds left in the game and could have tied the score with the extra-point conversion. Instead the coach decided to take the game out of the hands of his players and play overtime. The two-point attempt was stuffed by the Sea Kings staunch defensive. Congrats to the Sea Kings fo...

Re: Evangelical Christian Bigots

Kicks... The Bible speaks of men laying with men being a sin. Christians who believe in the Scriptures, the commandments of God and the Resurection of Jesus are simply supporting their beliefs. This does not make them bigots but you calling them bigots without respecting their faith makes you one. T...

Re: Current European tax Rates!

There's good reason why so many folks enjoy the thought of having the government provide welfare programs that provide medical care from birth to death. And we already have them. Federal Medicare, state Medicaid and private insurance. They're also called hospital emergency rooms - also available to ...

Re: Opinion: Anti-Christian Bigots Prey on Tebow

Does that work the same way as a religious person watching two queers kissing on a street corner in San Francisco. It works the same way certainly, but of course being "queer" isn't a religion. Football players from high school to the NFL publicly display their faith on the field in mostly emotiona...

Re: Opinion: Anti-Christian Bigots Prey on Tebow

You don't watch sports do you? Tebow's religion is a blurb, it barely gets picked up on the radar by people who carry sports. It's mentioned in passing. Vick was ostracized, and was talked about for years. He was the focus of media coverage for a good 6 months when the story broke. Don't ever compa...

"If you want the freedom to proclaim your religion publicly, others must have the freedom to publicly denounce your religion." Does that work the same way as a religious person w...
