Re: Edison vs Servite...Who are you cheering for?
I am a die hard Lutheran fan...I hate the Friars...Lutheran has beat Edison in the playoffs the only time they have met. As a Trinity brother am I bound to cheer for the Friars? I think I am. I will be sitting with the Friar Fans. Good Luck to both teams!!! As a Catholic school fan I go for Servite...

Re: Servite and Poly...Nov.27th
any educated guesses about whether this one will sell out?
I can't seem to give it up for the year, and am thinking about making the pain in the butt drive to Veteran's.

Re: Coach Rollo - It's Time
Ventura: You are SO RIGHT in your interpretation of the post. That's why I have not posted nor have many other staunch MD posters because we ALL KNOW WHAT EDAC is after......His hatred of MD is so INTENSE that it warps his senses. The post is so ludicrous it doesn't deserve a response. Good Luck to...

Re: Coach Rollo - It's Time
Is it time for Rollo to step aside and let someone else run the program? Who are the likely candidates? If it's not time to change direction, what needs to change at MD for the Monarchs to compete for Championships again? Let's discuss... I skimmed this thread and didn't see this theory mentioned: ...

Re: Football: Crespi should have been at-large entrant
Bling - I don't think formerly and I are weird. But I don't think you're too weird either, so I could be way off. The good thing is that we'll be able to see shortly, right? As I mentioned, I'm not totally confident in Serra's strength, either. And as formerly mentioned (I think), Crespi might have ...

Re: Football: Crespi should have been at-large entrant
This has been fun reading for a guy in post HS football depression. I really appreciate formerly's analysis, and his going to bat for the Serra. I see his thinking as more critical and less homer than guys like bling, but I've got no beef with homers anyway. Mostly HS football fanatics are pretty go...

Re: Biggest Blowouts in the first round of the Pac-5 Playoffs
Mission over Wilson 65-7. Edison over Millikan 50-7. I think these predictions might not be too far off, and this stuff should be taken into account when the post season choices are made. I know there has to be a formula, but some teams get absolute pushovers and others get very tough first round dr...

Re: Pac 5 Playoff At-Large
I think Crespi will win the next two games. They have to to see the post season, in my opinion. If the Celts make the post season one way or another, it would be a bad break for whoever draws them. For whatever reason they haven't been able to pull out the close game. They had Bonnies and ND beaten,...

I played with TT he was an absolute stud at SS was a big time hitter on Defense his team might have been tin tonight but he surely isn't! gamespeed - I agree with you, but these two posters, and a couple others who are all over Thomas, don't merit any response They are whack jobs with some personal...

Re: Chargers win!
Yes, 3 FORCED fumbles 3 picks... one for a 98 yard return with :11 left Good job Chargers (Edi/ET) Sorry guys, I'm lost. Who is LHHS? Servite turned the ball over six times? Was the 98 yard return a pic six? I would assume so! In that case, "it could have been worse"?? Sounds to me like Servite was...

Re: Yeah, it was a Servite win, but...
I don't know why anyone is saying Servite was playing their 2nd and 3rd string because they didn't. Perhaps on special teams (one punt and one kickoff) but both on offense and defense, the starters were in the entire game. What this game proved to me was that Servite is not as good as I thought the...

I knew you would appear on this board sooner or later. I've been looking forward to your take on the Crespi/Servite game. Your posts have always been 1st class and knowledgeable. Re: Servite/Crespi
If your Backs try and run thru the middle I think the combination of Inman and Pauu is going to beat on them all game. One issue that has been discussed is Servite's secondary. What they give away in size they take back with speed and physical play. Is Staunton still the #1 go to guy at Crespi? I he...

Re: Servite Friars schedule
I love Servite's schedule. Wish Crespi would have done the same thing. The obvious downside is injury, with each week featuring a vaunted opponent, but it's so much more fun to anticipate a game where your team has to really execute to win. I haven't had much fun watching the Celt's first two games,...

Re: Servite/Crespi
I'm surprised by Calpreps' prediction. You give me 14, I'll take Crespi. Actually, if Crespi can respond in kind to Servite's physicality and they don't make mistakes, they can take the game. Two big "ifs". Haven't seen Servite this year. Crespi has a lot at the skill positions and if the Friars mat...
