Things to do in Vegas

Post by pshaw »

We're heading up for our yearly pilgrimage at the end of the month and I thought I'd ask round for some input on new ideas...here's what we've got lined up:

Friday 8:00am flight out of John Wayne...check

Designated mule to drive and haul up various contraband/inebriants...check

Early check-in at the Mirage (Tower Suite)...check

Hospitality suite festivities...check

Rent a van and driver and head downtown to gamble...check

Reservations at a four-star steak place Friday night...check

More gambling...check

In-room breakfast Saturday morning...check

Poolside cabana all day...check

Stretch limo 6 to midnight, tour the Strip...check

Reservations at a top-tier Italian place...check

More gambling...check

Sleep in Sunday morning and after a late breakfast, more gambling...check

Flight back at 3pm...check

We've perfected this ritual over the years and it works pretty well. Any suggestions? Sarcasm is welcome.

P.S. Due to members' marital status tattoos, strip clubs and hooved animals are out.

I heard a tease for a story yesterday about some developer there who has turned his failed condo project into an amusement park for big boys where "you get to drive actual construction equipment!" Might be worth looking up. Or not.

If you could get tanked and swing the wrecking ball into the condos he would have the hottest attraction in town until the casualties started piling up.

The trendy thing now is to go shoot guns at The Gun Shop.

Don't they have a Wax Museum there too? Why don't they combine the two...I don't know, I just think drinking and destroying things after a hard day's gambling is a sure winner...am I wrong?

Sorry, but if you don't do anything that might make your momma cry, then you really didn't do Vegas.
