No word from our boy for 24 hours

Either he hocked his phone for scrip at one of the downtown skid row joints or they took it when they threw him in the tank

Let's see what his story is

I did say if his pinky was in the air while drinking champagne I would drive out and kick his ass.

We ended up going to Fredricksburg a German wine making town and went wine tasting at the wineries and hangin' out down town eating and antique hunting/buying. I gotta admit Fredricksburg has a good thing going, it's like Disneyland for grown ups and people were spending tons of coin. This whole area was settled by Germans and there are still some with the German accents

Went to Washington DC last week ... spent the 4th in Gettysburg and then got back to DC to catch up with some old friends on The Vietnam Memorial Wall ... my daughter was awestruck at the wall.

MAJ. GERALD AYRES, 33 - USAF C130 pilot shot down on his first day deployed on 18 Jun 1972 and MIA. Confirmed KIA and body recovered on 24 Oct 1994 and 'group buried' (see pic) at Arlington NC (first football coach)
MAJ. SAMUEL YOUNG ADAIR JR, 34 - USAF C130 191st Photo Recon pilot shot down and MIA 18 Mar 1972 confirmed KIA 15 Jul 1975 (I have and still wear his memorial bracelet)
MAJ. ROBERT WILLIAM "Wild Bill" ABBOTT, 45 - USAF Spooky Pilot shot down 17 Dec 1965 (he and his wife used to babysit me and he took me for my first plane ride in a C130)
A1C DANNY BOLSTER, 21 - USAF 366th SPS. Ground casualty-friendly fire on 7 Jan 1972. (My Mom's nephew)

I still have my POW bracelet.. Major Richard Vogel.. I corresponded with his wife (and him after his release) for a few years. I should try and find out he is still alive
