Can't believe we haven't posted on the passing of Keith Jackson.
I know for a couple of generations, he was the voice of college football. But his Olympic work, and of course, Wide World of Sports work that also is imprinted on so many of us.

Ikea Founder Ingvar Kamprad dead at 91.
I can't tell you how many pieces of Ikea furniture I've assembled. Sad to see him go, but I'm pretty sure I cursed him under my breath more than a few times.

Mort Walker, creator of Beetle Bailey cartoon, has died. I used to read that one every Sunday, when I still took the Sunday paper. I haven't read a comic strip in years.

They told me if I voted for Hillary Clinton the president would be emotional, impulsive, and unpredictable. They were right. I voted for Hillary Clinton and got a president that is emotional, impulsive, and unpredictable.

He's as close to a idol as I have had. How he could do those absurdly complex calculations in his head with such an inability to communicate - and his mind racing ahead of his speech - is unfathomable. His family said he'll be remembered for years. No, it'll be centuries........................Luca

Steven Bochco, 74.
He made some of the greatest TV of his time. Hill Street Blues holds up today, as does NYPD Blue.
