Wabash - as I've humbly admitted on this board, I've forgotten much of the civics I learned at Crespi and USD. But to quote Woodrow in the beginning of that incredible Lonesome Dove TV saga, "you're in over your head, Pete", when it comes to the Catholic faith. I know it. I've loved it, pursued it seriously, for 40 years. You are in over your head.

When one takes a vow before God to become a Catholic priest, he doesn't "stop liking" it, and move on. An oath before God is eternal. It's your essence, for all time. So there is no such thing as a "former priest". "Just stopped liking the priesthood"......why don't you "just stop liking" being a father to your children. Or "just stop liking" the wife you swore to love and protect 'til death do you part.

That's a whole other subject. My beef with you and Omar is that you DO NOT belittle what is sacred to the Jewish or Christian faith. You will see about that just after your last breath. I wish you'd trust me on that. That's all I can do.

Besides, it makes you both look very small, and very ignorant. And I know the both of you hate that, above all else. Pride and ignorance go hand in hand.
