Nah, in the next picture he makes a very typical sexual reference from college age kids with a large phallic shaped object.

We had to order it to go because Huck snuck out the door and decided he wasn't going anywhere but in the Suburban. I ordered the bacon avocado burger (no cheese or 1000 island sauce) with grilled onions. They have a large menu (including breakfast). Definitely better than Five Guys or The Habit. We were the only ones in the restaurant while we were there (1 car came to the drive-thru). The 2 people working there were EXTREMELY nice. My only suggestions would be: the avocado was fresh but could have used an extra day or 2 to ripen (too hard) and needed more napkins (real juicy).

oh yeah.. we mentioned Facebook and got 15% off
Tried them...A little bit better than your local Ted's, Fred's & Duke's Burger joint owned by a greek...Not up to Slater's 50/50 levels...Just as good as The Habit...Nice place...

The bride and I had lunch at Slater's this afternoon...around 1:30. The lunch crowd was emptying, and when they were out, the place was pretty empty. Had a 50/50 third pound on white with cheddar, fried onions and mushrooms, mayo, and lettuce...the bride had a Greek salad....had the two-part appetizer...fries and onion rings. The fries and rings were good...tasty and soaked in grease. Onion rings in batter are like eating donuts...I prefer crumbs. The burger was a very good burger...not a great burger. I liked the 50/50 beef/bacon mix...it was cooked MR, and the sharp bacon flavor dominated. The atmosphere...sort of a sports bar and sort of a family restaurant...isn't something that would draw me back....maybe a happy hour crowd would up the pulse level a little. If the place was around the corner, I might return...I think the burgers at Players on Moulton, Laguna Hills are better tasting, and the individual table top sound boxes beat the hell out of a bunch of flat screens that don't even have the SAP close captioning functioning...what's the point of having a sports interview show on a buinch of screens with no sound or closed captioning...not good.

The Habit is still #1 for me for upscale type burgers.....Players ranks equal. In and Out is always right up there as a fine burger/fries joint.

Haven't read this entire thread but I would vote for Mick's Karma Bar in Irvine. Kick-ass burgers. Kick-ass strawberry basil lemonade.

Ted's in Laguna Niguel has fine burgers, but the breakfasts are to die for. Largest portion of hashed browns served anywhere.

HOLY SHIIIIIIIIITE, so good.

I went with the standard 50/50. Burgerfection. I will not order anything else from this place. This burger is the absolutely perfect.

...also I was really stoked to see the all the craft beers on tab. So many great IPAs. I will return next time I'm in HB.
