Do agree that they didn't ask for anyone to feel sorry for them and that's probably why when watching this documentary, you just had to shake your head and think "What were you thinking?" because we had never been in their shoes.
But I'm beginning to think that so much of what goes on with spending/losing money, the women, etc. has to do with the power that goes with being an athlete or just being someone in the public eye. Let's not forget our two recent elected officials who just admitted to having adult children...they were supposedly educated. Then there are the multiple movie stars, rock stars, etc who have all had their fame and wealth come crashing down.
