Well, that should be enough to bring over all the Servite honks. (Might as well get started on the right foot.)

But quite chic, nonetheless.

Ppaul - you might be getting a now-pointless e-mail sometime later. My outgoing mail hasn't been working. The ransomware's gone but a few bugs remain.

Not sure about the sound, but I'd bet that the smell is the same audience or no audience.

Hiya Chop. Sonoma and the smell of nitro in 35 minutes. What do you think of the new 1,000 foot "1/4" mile? It isn't the same....that extra 320 feet just makes those nitro cars much more interesting.

Agreed....one bobble and your round is over. The extra 320 let some people back in on hot greasy raceways. I believe that Scott K. was knocked unconscious or killed in the initial explosion, so the runout area could have been a 1/2 mile long and he still would have been killed.

I'm not sure what the answer is - maybe make more tracks like Las Vegas and Sonoma which have longer, uphill runout areas.

Holy Crap...I actually remebered my password. It's on! Down with the Register. Lot of familiar names. Hmmm. This is going to get good. I have nothing good to say right now. I will be back.

Yep...the entire freight comes straight out of his own pocket.

On the old El Toro Chronicles board a bunch of us got together at Tia Juana's Long Bar in Old Irvine..we gathered there every so often...and presented JQP with a new computer. At the time I believe he was trying to run his board using a Commodore 64.

I think it was a Win 98 machine, and I've got 3 donuts he is still using that relic.

Nope. Not using either relic. The 486 is just TOO old and the motherboard died on the Tia Juana's box so I went out and bought me a brand, spankin' new Pentium! 8)

Good things and bad things about paying the freight myself. Bugs and requests could take a little longer to get to but, then again, I don't have anybody telling me I have to switch over to the Corporate format, either.

And ads aren't out of the question, if and when. But if I do use them, they'll never be as irritating as the Rag's ads. I don't like animated ads and I really don't like Flash ads. I use the board, so if they annoy the users, they'd probably annoy me even more.
