Wiley, you were one of a kind and will truly be missed. Fight On with all the rest of the Trojans in the sky!!
May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face. May the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, May the Lord hold you in the palm of His hand.

Wiley you jousted well, Sir! As a frequent foil for our erstwhile millionaire, this loss hits hard. I will miss the Wiley barbs and jabs, his love of HS football. I cannot figure why I'm crying, but I am. Just like Wiley to have the last laugh. Peace, brother.Parrotpaul wrote:Mr. Burt will be the first...that we are aware of....long-time Occonnect poster we have lost. RIP, Steve Burt....we will certainly miss you on this board. We have lost a friend.
For a time, in his early years, Wiley lived in Crown Point, at the edge of Mission Bay, and across from Sunset Cliffs, in Point Loma, where I grew up. I put up a picture once, on the old Student Sports board, of a spot where we body surfed. He PM'd me, and said his brothers went to PLHS, and wanted to send it to them.
Heck of a photographer, good sense of humor, and quite a collection of classic photos that Wiley, posted here over the years.
Rest in Peace, Wiles...
