What do we know about O Lu?

Post by We are O Lu » Sun Sep 16, 2012 5:53 pm

I'm just guessing based on the preseason we won't know anything about O Lu and league
until league starts.

Things we do know...you better play 4 quarters against them because they keep running.

Defense is good but are they great?

Passing game is much better than anticipated.

This is a fun season being an unknow quantity and quality.

Go Lancers

PS Corp or Hyepock for Heisman!!!

We know their preseason schedule has not been challenging and we know their first league game will be a significant reality check.

I have seen olu on my son's hudl account.
I would be very suprised if a WingT/ option team were to win any games in the Trinity League sans jserra.
Just my own personal opinion i know that doesnt mean much.

i am sure at 4-0 you guys are all excited...but that is only bc u have yet to see bosco, md or sm live or on film..... if u have and give urself any shot you have no idea what u are watching.

all 3 of those teams look unstopable.....luckily they happen to play each other

They do look unstoppable, but they haven't played anybody yet. SM has proven themselves, but MD and Bosco haven't. Dominguez, Lakewood, St. Paul, Carson, Santa Monica and Santa Fe are not good measuring sticks. I thought Loyola would be a test, but that is a very average and one-dimensional team that lacks size and athletes. I expect Bosco to be the real deal, but their first real high quality opponent will be in week eight against MD. Same with the Monarchs, it's tough to say how good they really are yet. The next two weeks will tell us, though I don't expect them to struggle with Edison.

Why would a wing t not work in the trinity? It can work quite well at the highest level if run correctly, I don't see how being in the trinity would change that.

It could. If Bosco or SM ran it this year, it would work quite well.

I agree! Santa Margarita and Bosco I am giving playoff berths.

I am not so quick to give one to Mater Dei quite yet.

Plus I don't think JSerra is a push over by any means. Those boys come to play!

At this stage, most of them aren't boys, they are young men.

Justa pet peeve of mine.

I don't think a 16 year old is a young man by any stretch of the imagination.

You are not a man until your momma doesn't do you wash, make your dinner, or pay for your insurance.

That is what makes a man...not your age.

Another win last night that doesn't tell us much. Can't wait for Trinity league to start.
