Servite vs St. Paul

Post by Lionhunter » Wed Sep 26, 2012 8:06 pm

Servite's offense moves the ball better this week, keeping the defense off the field longer, and scoring some points (remember them?), and pulls out a 21-10 win over the Swordsmen.

21 points??? You must be thinking they will score 2 defensive TDs.

IF Servite loses do you think the OCR will take them out of the Top 10?

As long a Steve Fryer is around they wil still be there...he is consistent though as he kept MD in his top ten when they were losing last year

MD beat santa margarita and played servite until the last play of game. As long as servite shows an ability to move the ball and be competitive once league starts then they will deserve to stay in the top 10 this year.

Servite is at least a top 12-15 team at worst....lots of these lower tier teams, while they have good records, they could beat anyone on Servite's schedule. If Servite loses to St. Paul, then should drop out of the top 10. If Servite puts up another bagel on the scoreboard, then Servite should put an add on Craigslist for an offensive coordinator.

I agree. Fryer couldn't find the last time Servite was shut out twice in a row. It was 1993 and it happened twice that year. (four shutouts)

Servite has never been shut out three in a row. Hopefully they never will be. Two is bad enough.

My point was that Fryer kept MD in the top ten when they had the same record last year, 1-3, as Servite has now. I wasn't trying to say MD was bad and they had a very good chance to beat Servite last year. There are two chances of Servite moving the ball and being competetive in the Trinity (except against maybe JSerra) this year...slim and none!

One way or another, Servite will not lose tomorrow night to the Swordsmen. It just won't happen.
