Lets see, you mean like Mitch Kahn, Keith Van Horne, Matt Kalil, Charlie Williams, Jerry Whitte and the countless others who have come out of the OC!

Jackwagon, hmmmm, there are guys in high school that have never played who lift that much. You miss the point, people do what they do, it is all good, learn some history though!

Kid will be a 4 year starter at Norco...runs 5.2 forty at 6`1 315lbs... he actually is being recruited on the defensive side of the ball because of his height... but to answer your question he is a pretty good damn OL...very athletic, good feet and punch...

5.2 is fast for a Norco lineman.

Here is the DL transfer from SM to MV....40 reps at 205, 4.7 40 time and cleans over 600lbs. Coaches say his max bench is upwards of 485.

I agree with RoadRunner. The DT from La Habra, Greg Gaines is 6'1 290 and a top recruit and already committed to Boise State. Last I checked they were a D1 college program.

Half squats don't count, he's a strong kid but a true squat is when the hip joint goes below parallel of the knee joint. I hear about all these numbers and wonder how it's possible well now I see.

That is a misinformed statement. 20 to 25 % of NFL centers and guards are 6'1 6'2, and that number goes way up if you allow him to grow one more inch while in college to 6'3.

To think that 6 '2 is too small, leading with that thought , then to think there is only a few guys at the D1 level that are 6'1,6'2, and there be that many at the NFL level, you would have to assume that you have a much higher chance then most centers or guards that are taller than 6"1 or 6"2 getting drafted to a pro team.

There is far too many Centers and Guards playing D1 to make that a blanket statement about size. An OT, yes,but not for a guard or center.

Colleges will take the 6'3 guy over a 6'1 guy. You can't teach height. They'll pick size over talent majority of the time.
