Aaron Pico world champ

Post by TrinityLFB » Sun Aug 25, 2013 11:18 am

Just thought Truth would like to keep up with his favorite LA county school.

Aaron Pico of SJB completed an undefeated year by defeating Japan in the Cadet World Championships.

He actually add a match that he was down 4-0 and came back to win 8-4 to win agaist Indian, there Asian champion, this is Amersica vs the world not Bosco vs anyone. This is an OC forum, LA should get its own.

of course. He can wrestle anywhere he wants...why not wrestle at a place where you hate the coaches.

Seems reasonable to me. All these great wrestlers going to Bosco recently, they must just love the girls on campus?

they are going there because they are allowed to be coached b who they want, not the coach there, get your info straight. their lower levels are bad. They tried to go to other places but were not allowed to do what they wanted.

you're so funny.

Aaron was training internationally before he arrived at Bosco. I will agree that clearly Bosco is not solely responsible for his training. But, being that he has been training internationally and with the US team for four years now, he was never going to be trained by just a high school coach. Any school that would tell him to not train with the Olympic team or to not train with a Ukrainian coach with so much international experience...would be idiots.

That's the point. He could have gone anywhere and trained with the coaches he wanted to. Bosco was winning CIF titles with Delgado long before the Valencia brothers and Pico were there. Was he supposed to say no to the best young wrestler the US has or no to the exposure to even better coaching that would be given to other Bosco players by having Pico as a team member?

Don't be bitter. The best young wrestler to come along for the US is wrestling at Bosco.

LA county school btw, in case you forgot.

Shall I explain what before and after means to you? Actually what I said was long before, but, before would still suffice.

And who was the coach that was winning those CIF titles? Same coach.

How many CIF wrestling titles has Servite had in that time?

Servite has great coaches, but you're wasting your time trying to belittle what Bosco is doing. Servite proving to be a challenge was the best thing to happen to Bosco wrestling.

They weren't winning any titles; they've only had a team for a few years.

Me thinks someone cares about LA county a little more than he is letting on...
