I think Hawkins is too high on that list. he's a good player but he's not better than Sweet at real football. Hawkins is a great 7V7 WR but come on did he just dominate in Divison 9 or whatever BP is in?

hmmmm, Hawkins is the real deal but he is handi-capped by the notion that BP is a small school and cant hang with the big boys. WR is a skill position and he definitely has the skill and the fact that when its showcased in a 7 on 7 format puts him on a level playing field with the big dogs. I believe the two biggest differences between Division 1 and the lower divisions is on both sides of the line of scrimmage and the depth that the D1 schools have vs the smaller schools. Neither of those really effect the WR position.

I think Hawkins could not only play but thrive and put up better WR stats if he was at a D1 school. Especially one where he has a top flight QB throwing him the ball. Maybe he is too high on the list but I dont think his value should be diminished because he plays at a small school like BP. The kid can play......He also does a good job at safety(needs to work on tackling tough RBs) and is dangerous as a kick/punt returner. Which is why he is being offered as an athlete because he is oozing with talent he has the ability to play on either side of the ball once he gets to college.

Hawkins could play just about anywhere. The problem is, the DI schools have better coaching. They have more difficult schemes and reads. Their routes change due to coverage. In the lower divisions, that doesn't happen as often. He would have benefited from being at Mater Dei or Margarita because he would have learned more about the position. Ryan Finley, 3 year starter at Fountain Valley, could have a big year if they find a QB to get him the ball.

Kyle Sweet isn't 6-0 nor is Brown 6-5. I stood next to both of them recently and I say 5-10 and 6-2.

Really?

I would have to say that St. Brown is in a class of his own followed by G. Wilson. G. Wilson is still learning the position and will continue to get better. Both of these guys should do very well at the next level. I like Sweet as the 3rd WR. All he does is make plays and has great hands. I am not sure where he fits at the college level though. Hawkins does everything well, but I don't think he's great at anything. He can probably play 4 different positions at the college level. I think his best position is either running back or safety. I heard his dad doesn't want him carrying the rock at RB at the high school level. To me Hawkins doesn't seem a natural WR even though he is very good at it. Hawkins isn't as good Anthony Thomas or Marquis Lee at the WR position. Hawkins is between a deep threat and a big target like St. Brown. But the kid can play, and he has a ton of heart. He works very hard also.

I did not know he was that fast.

I heard Servite RB Tate Beachley had the third best time.

So they both would have finished in the top ten at the NFL combine this year? I don't think so, Tim.
