Servite is on a roll and will rattle the young Helinski

As an aside I wish someone would let the Fox Prepzone announcer know his name isn't Helsinki #-o

Santa Margarita over JSerra, 34-26. JSerra continues to hemorrhage talent after their freshman years, and they may be down until they figure out a way to stop that leak.

Orange Lutheran over Servite, 30-24. Lutheran impressed me last week, and Servite hasn't beaten a team as good as the Lancers. They probably won't tomorrow night either.

Mater Dei over St. John Bosco, 31-29. As Ric Flair has said a thousand times, "To be the man you've got to beat the man." After six unsuccessful tries, maybe this is the year, although 2017 would be a better bet.

Mater Dei Frosh over St. John Bosco Frosh, 35-28. This is strictly a roll of the dice, and I assume it doesn't count in our standings.

SM over JSerra by 3.. JSerra plays well with their backs to the wall but not enough strength on the Offensive line
Servite over Olu by 7 if Servite can stop Osborn and Berryhill they should be fine
SJB over MD by 4 MD hasn't faced a team as strong as Bosco and Daniels may get rattled
SJB freshman win by 17

MD by 4 over SJB
SM by 10 over JS
Servite by 10 over O Lu. (Can we go 1 game without getting a punt blocked for a TD. please?)

After Servites convincing win over J Serra last week, it's that much tougher to pick this week.
Santa Margarita over J Serra by 7. I guess JS not as good as I thought. Maybe Hartigan took the Friars too lightly.

Servite over OLU by 3. OLU will be ready, but if you compare the JS scores, you gotta go with the Friars.

Bosco over MD by 3. This is a tough one and I'm going with my heart. I keep hearing how great MD is every year, yet Bosco whoops em. I think they are finally legit (MD is kicking their butts in the recruiting wars), but Bosco just seems to own em anymore. It's really a crap shoot. Whoever makes the fewest mistakes, wins.

If Bosco allows Daniels time to pass & offers up little to no pass rush, this game will get ugly quick.

Either way, Mitchell WILL have to make passes down the field to win this game. You know MD will stack the box to stop the run. Any word on Beasley? His absence in a game like this would be a huge loss for Bosco.

I don't pick with my heart - I use the noggin. I think the Monarchs finally break through tonight and halt the Braves' 23 league game winning streak.

I'm not involved in the pickem game this season but I had to add my two cents on this one.

7-6 Bosco Mater Dei DB's getting burned.

Looks like Bosco is deep in MD's heads- dropped passes, missed tackles and multiple penalties on seemingly every drive

Servite-OLU tied 28-28 after a 99 yard pick 6 by Mcduffie.

Friars take the lead 35-28 at the end of the 3rd.

Only 14-6 SJB at the half but the way both teams are playing, this one looks over IMHO...wonder what Rollo's saying to them right now :hide:
