Good games this week!

Gorman. I hope I'm wrong since I would really like Bosco to represent SoCal.
DLS. Not a good week to be a Friar.
Centennial. Virtually impossibly to stop this offensive juggernaut.
JSerra. kudos to Amat for their non league scheduling.
SM. Toughest call for me. If the SM team that showed up against Loyola shows up this week SM wins.
MD. Don't laugh but LaMirada is a good team. Having said that MD rolls but it should be closer than first 2 games.

Gorman - Bosco has not "played like Bosco" *so far* - prove me wrong Bosco and make my day

DLS - why do we have to endure Servite embarrassing us all year after year after year? :dead horse: (Does playing Servite hurt DLS' national ranking? :hide: )

CC - business as usual - love ya OLu but the same result for all the Trinity League teams except maybe MD

JSerra - Go get'em Lions! As a Los Altos Conquistador homer - - "BEAT AMAT!"

SMCHS Eagles - - Go Eagles! I do not think the Eagles have ever won at Alemany and the drive is HORRENDOUS.

MD - will the varsity even suit up? Can we swap MD and Servite? Well, might have to go with La Mirada then? :bonk:

JSerra. 3rd Trinity loss in a row for Amat.

Amat won last week so it would not make it 3 in a roll .

My trusted friends - I know a win is a win. The head coach at Servite has proven that he knows how and can win!!! I realize it was not in the Trinity league, but hey he has proven himself - now with that said. Do you all think it is possible? - Servite did not want to show their hand this early in the season. Knowing they had DLS coming up and the Trinity League itself. The value for Servite would be to beat a team like DLS leading into league. Just a thought!!!

You're not alone JMumphrey. I am waiting for Thursday evening or Friday before posting on this subject. Things are not quite as black and white (sorry Omar), as most people believe. Keep the faith...the team is gonna do just fine Friday.

Jmumphry, Great to aim high. They lost against a mediocre team and are getting ready to play one of the most disciplined teams in the country and every year have running backs that will test Servite's ability to tackle big time. Not sure about not showing their hand LOL. Servite needs to show they can win and not go .500 or less. Really elementary mistakes on film.

Bosco, CC, and MD look much better than DLS this year. A team with big lines and really good athletes should beat them.

Good morning my friends - you are ruthless but I still feel like Servite can get it done. Regardless of how foolish it may sound, I think the coaching staff has not put all of their offensive packages on display. I will be totally shocked going forward if we do not see a different Servite team. DLS has not been tested at all this year - look at the 2 teams they have played so far. Pencil in a win for Servite this week. As some wrote when Servite played FV - FV over matched 44 points did not tell us anything about Servite. By the way the coaches loved the on the towels!!!!!! LOL

Bishop Amat over JSerra by 6
Corona Centennial over Orange Lutheran by 27
Mater Dei over La Mirada by 20 I stand by my belief that this La Mirada team is better than most people give them credit for.
Santa Margarita over Alemany by 7
De La Salle over Servite by 17 I stand by my belief that, by De La Salle standards, this is a very mediocre Spartan team.
Bishop Gorman over St. John Bosco by 17

DLS always struggles early. Their offense is very precise. They are a whole different team come playoffs.

Big, physical teams should beat them but they don't (Servite, CC.) You have to play mistake-free, disciplined football.

That being said, they will hang another 40+ point loss on Servite.

I'm not referring to past years, I'm talking about this year. If you haven't seen them play then you wouldn't agree.

If Servite keeps it within 10 points, I'll consider that a W
