MV
SJH - hardest of the 5 games to pick. Edge to SJH, they nocked Tesoro out of play offs either last year or year before...
CDM
SC
Tesoro

Had to go back and look and it was El Toro that lost to Great Oak in 14 in a close one in the play offs. So never mind...SJH by 14... but could be better game then some think...

Did you wonder why that strange woman was staring at you? That was my husband and I who stopped to talk to you guys as we were leaving. I thought I recognized you!

No problem. Women stare at me all the time. I've gotten used to it over the years as long as they just keep their hands to themselves.............Luca

Yeah, I was looking closely at you guys because you looked so familiar (its been a few years since I've seen you at a game). I got there late but a few of the other guys mentioned you had talked about the EWT game with them. Just didn't put 2 and 2 together.

ET (which would be bad news for me, but great news at the same time)
SC to rebound
SJH
ND (ugh, picking anyone called ND hurts too)
CdM

Mission Viejo over El Toro
San Clemente over Rancho Buena Vista
San Juan Hills over Great Oak
Tesoro over Notre Dame Riverside. (Tesoro's 4-1 record is a little suspect as it has squeaked out three of its wins by total of 12 points, but Notre Dame Riverside lost to St. Paul by 17)
Corona Del Mar over Trabuco Hills (I didn't realize that CDM is 72 – 10 – 1 over the last 7 1/2 seasons. It builds an expectation of winning which is an advantage in close games)

As a heads up, once league starts there will be fewer games to choose from and since we now have a deadlock near the top we need to institute some sort of tiebreaker. Starting with league games we'll need to add a pointspread to each pick. At the end of the regular season if there is a tie then whoever comes closest in cumulative pointspreads will be awarded the inaugural South Coast League Prognosticator Dude trophy...............................Luca

If the regular season ends in a tie, is there any chance you will add up the cumulative point spreads before Easter?

Whoa. Do I detect an attempted dis from Mr.-Tied-for-Fourth-Place?

Isn't that a little bit like Caitlyn Jenner anxiously awaiting the announcement of the Man of the Year award?..........................Luca

Don't be such a softy Luca. MDDad is actually tied for ninth, since eight others have higher scores than he (or I, for that matter).
