Poor Servite? I guess it’s all perspective. Servite going the Loyola route..... winning at what cost? The school would rather play with Servite kids then hired gun Sr xfers who they are renting for a semester or two. Seems like Domingo is the only MD alum who isn’t looking the other way..... sad for HS football

This entire thing is whack..... more and more becoming just another semi-pro league. It will no doubly create super teams, high quality sport but what is so fantastical about putting all the best players on one team and then saying damn aren't they great? --:-- Even if they are, the "so-what" factor is there.

Like the McDuffie to Bosco lets see two UBER teams go at it since w enow dwell in the new real world of HS Football.

Winning at all cost? Look at Servite enrollment since they are no longer a football power. Why are they laying off teachers every year now? Football and sports is a direct correlation of the student body. You don't win your enrollment will go down, your donations will go down and the overall well being of the school goes down. Bosco had 1,100 students when kiki took over, by the time he left the school it was down to 650. It is now at a healthy 850 which is good for an all boy school.

You can't compare Loyola to Servite, you can't compare Loyola to any all boy school. Their endowment is in the 50 millions with a different philosophy and they don't need to win to keep students or attract students.

Ask any Servite Alumni and they will tell you "Get rid of Bowen" Servite brings in a good President and Principal they will be back on top in no time.

And - Domingo is NOT an MD alum as he claims to be , FI

On side note, wow; if everything true about the Servite FB program, powers-at-be should have
grabbed Hartigan when they had a chance, maybe TT coming back?

This is because of our awful administration. This has nothing to do with kids and schools building a super team. Kids are looking for a school that supports their kids passion and strengths. Football AND academics. I was hardcore servite... WAS.

Bringing back Troy Thomas is the best thing administration could do. Hopefully they realize the severity of the situation with all the players leaving these last 2 weeks.

Thomas wasn’t getting it done at Crespi. Maybe he lost his magic? He doesn’t exactly have a stellar RECENT resume. I’m not sure Thomas is the answer.

Just think about the talent that has left last offseason and now this offseason.

Ethan Rae
Kyle Ford
Titus Tolar
Trent Mcduffie
Spencer Lytle
KJ Trijullo

Unless you’re MD or Bosco your program will be hurting losing that type of talent.

Per Greg Biggins, Tolar enrolled at Bosco today

Servite QB Caden Bell is now at J Serra.
Well, obviously we have giant butterflies in CA. They's climbin' in your windows, They's snatchin' your people up, tryin' to steal 'em. So y'all need to hide your kids, hide your stars, and hide your coaches cause they're grabin' everybody out here.
