Are out a little early. Valencia and Oaks Christian are moving up to D1.

Seems like the formula changed again. Can you send me the spreadsheet via EM?

Damn how some of the mighty have fallen...... Thinking NH was bad but WTF @ Buena Park.... That story is a fast collapse if I have ever seen one.....

If NH and FV do not make the Playoffs they could be D10 in 2019, based on how this is formulating.

I don't think so. As long as the league a school plays in carries such an inordinate weight in the formula, this process will never get it right and be entirely equitable.

FV goes 7-5, loses in the quarters...and DROPS from D6 to D8.

HB goes 3-7, misses the playoffs, and moves up from D7 to D6

Really interested to compare the new formula to last year's.

Bick, my guess is that, given the two-year rolling window, Fountain Valley had a good 2015 season drop out of the formula, and Huntington Beach had a lousy 2015 drop out.

FV was 7-4 in 2015, getting blown out in the 1st round. Not entirely different than the 2017 team, and hard to believe it was that different so as to drop 2 divisions - 2016 included in both.

Looking at the top heading above the D1 placements, there's a new formula in place. LB Poly would have dropped to about #4 or 5 in D2 under the old formula.

@RR after all the whining, complaining and politicing we will see a few maneuvers --:--

Agreed...it was like that last year when I posted the early list of divisions...biggest injustice is Upland staying in D2 and MV staying in D1

I hope it changes. I think Upland should be D1 but I guess we will find out on Thursday.

Did you guys notice Santa Ana moving up four spots to D8, wow that is a heck of a jump...I know public school football played by those that just enjoy the game is boring...

Like last year in D4, Cajon will crush D3 if they stay there.....

sk, you have to be thinking CDM is number one in D4 when first poll comes out.
Who else, Bishop, Grace, Paramont, VP ?

San Clemente, not D-1
LBP - not D-1
Calabasas should be D-1
Upland-D-1
Tesoro Not d-2
SJH- Not d-2
CDM, SHOULD BE d-3 or d-2
MV-GOOD AT d-1
LH , good at D-2
look for Paramount to make some noise.

Cdm will be D2 in 2019 after they win D4 this fall and last years PCL SOS falls out of the formula and this years Sunset SOS is added to the equation. I don’t see many D4 teams on that list that have a shot against them this year. My opinion is they belong in D3 this year.
