, I was waiting for you to start up on basketball. You were slow on the uptake this year. You are correct, Morris is a horrible coach and a vile person. They have 5-6 seniors on varsity. Do you know that not one of them played on the upper levels as freshman? They had 6 kids playing upper levels that year and 4 of the 6 transferred out and 2 of the 6 just quit but stayed at Servite. They could have actually competed in Trinity this year had those kids stayed and played in addition to the kids he has now. Kudos to the kids who stuck it out to get to their senior year(not bagging on them). There are now 50 plus kids who have quit or transferred in the past 5 years. We aren't talking football here where you have 85-100 kids on JV/Varsity and another 60 on freshman. NO ONE CARES! They should have fired him 2 years ago (and I believe they were going to) but someone stopped it. They should have fired him last year but Bowen knew he was out at that point and didn't care. I'm sure he'll make playoffs this year because of all the sorry tournaments he's in (there were several tournaments in Orange County last weekend he could have played in but he would have lost and he knew it) combined with the fact that he will only go 0-5 in league, not 0-10. And the justification this year will be, "well he made playoffs". It doesn't erase or change the fact that his overall league record is pathetic and he's a really, really bad person. , is Spanish Springs better than Bishop Gorman or Findlay prep? I don't think so. I know you are a Servite teacher or administrator so it's in your nature to stick up for the school. Truth is, if you should be sticking up for the kids that have had to suffer through Morris for the past 8 years and the families that have been paying 16-17K in tuition to have a awful experience. The interests of the kids should be put first. Not the interests of a Servite alum who has proved time and time again he shouldn't have this job.
