I don't see how you can acknowledge my statement is true if you think it desirable that high school sports teams be "representative of the student body as a whole". I said there is no reason to expect them to be, any more than any other voluntary group like the chess team or the pep band should. What do you tell kids who don't meet your criteria - "Sorry, but you don't represent the student body as a whole"?

Oh, and thank you for confirming that you did indeed mean "much" embarrassment. Just wanted to confirm, that's all...one would hope that someone with a somewhat less fragile ego would have dispensed with the google tutorial and just answered "Yes"...

Everyone with at least a middle school education, could clearly see that that is what Credo said from the beginning.

You knew what he meant...Or do I overestimate your cerebral skills?

Geez, is there a league game where Servite is not going to either get doubled up and/or lose by at least 30?

Why does the basketball team even practice? Why is there a coach. Results would be the same without either. Have the players do homework or study and just show up for games and rotate 5 players every other quarter. It would be much more fun for them and wouldn’t have to put up with Johnny the bully Morris. Credo!

Yes, just last week. 2-digit subtraction not your forte?

This cheering section deserves a winner.

The fans deserve a team worthy of their support. And if they ever got basketball right-they would never lose at home.

With that gym and student section it would be the toughest place to play in southern California if the team was worth a poop.

since it's going to be a long time before they get basketball right...we will never prove/disprove this.

Yeah, but common sense should tell us something.

Only if they continue to refuse to cut on the A/C over there in the “BRICK Oven.”

Question for the hoops fans. Why do the Trinity League teams only play five conference games? Why not at least a home and home?

So Servite can make the playoffs.

aberamsey, Professor Fate, is correct. Not sure if that's really why, but Servite will most likely benefit from this format and make playoffs this year because of all the easy games Morris had them play early. It won't erase the fact that his league record over the 8 years he's been there is 8-65 and if he loses the next 2 TL games, 8-67. We aren't even competing! To lose by 34 to J Serra last night was embarrassing. There are some good players on the team but the leadership from Morris is so bad. And the team is so young because he's had so many kids quit over the years that would be seniors right now. You need that strong senior leadership on the court in some capacity. I just hope administration makes the change regardless of whether or not he makes the playoffs. It's time to start over. It can't get any worse than it is right now. We need someone who is going to build up the program to a point where the students can be proud. That doesn't mean winning every TL game. It means putting our best foot forward and competing...giving some teams a run for their money. Not just being the easy W for anyone that's legit.

Didn't somebody say on here that he plans to leave after this season?

Professor Fate, I heard that last year as well. Why would he go anywhere? He's got a great gig at Servite. Probably makes $80K, doesn't teach any real academic classes, walks around in his flip flops and sweat shorts all day, keeps getting his contract renewed despite losing year after year....I'd say he has it pretty good.

Wait, so the evidence that Servite is more ethnically diverse than most might think is that picture of the current Pit Crew, which is an even less diverse version of what you said was the 2014 Pit Crew :-s LOL
