You mean JS & Olu?

IMHO, Bosco's always been the deepest team in the TL, and MD usually has the best starters (at least since 2017). If MD's starters stay healthy, tough to beat. When MD's starters get hurt, though (a la Jaylin and Kobah), the '19 'ship happens.

Looks like the San Marcos QB transfer into MD, Emmett Brown; transferred out
to Rancho Verde high, Moreno Valley - most likely because he wasn't named the
starter. Same thing could happen at Bosco with the two QB's that alternate
now, something will have to give on it now or next season.

smart move by Emmett Brown. Going to a great program.

I don't think either Bosco QB will leave. One is a junior and the other is a sophomore. I truly think Clarkson will stick around. He will still get huge offers and play with stellar talent. Bosco blows teams out so much that both can play a ton of time.

You could be right but I don't see Clarkson sticking around (especially his dad)
if he is not a full time starter especially for a full football junior season. It will be interesting
to say the least. Time will tell...

Perhaps it is a smart move. Emmett Brown would have gotten a lot of quality playing time this Spring at MD. He was also be 1 play away from being ‘the guy’ if Elijah Brown got injured. MD better cover Elijah Brown in bubble wrap because if he goes down they are screwed. Maybe Emmett Brown or Beau Green would transfer back. ](*,)

when the true freshmen is given the job, its time to bounce. You cant play the what if he gets hurt game. With the MD line, the young kid will be protected.

Maybe he could of stayed for this abbreviated season because he would have played, and then look at his options. I doubt he is somewhere now and able to play?

Why? They made the correct decision for a change.

I think OLu is better than JSerra but both are bad.
The hierarchy in the Trinity is clear. MD and Bosco are by themselves at the top. Servite is clearly the 3rd best team and I think they may give both Bosco and MD a good game.
SM is fourth.
JSerra and OLu are by far the worst 2 teams and there is a gap between them and SM.

So the same as the last 5 years? Boring. Only one game matters now. The rest are warm-up games.

I think Servite will score some points on Bosco (SM had no problem passing on them) but when Bosco's O line gets rolling, it's over. Same with MD. God, even posting about these games is getting repetitive.

At some point the league will balance out and become competitive again, right? Or is this it?

How is it any different than the Freeway League, where La Habra has won 18 of the last 21 championships? Or the South Coast League, where Mission Viejo has won 17 of the last 20? Or the Moore League, where Long Beach Poly has won 18 of the last 19, and almost every title since 1958?

At least the Trinity League has two top teams. Those other leagues only have one.

Exactly my point, the Freeway League games traditionally are a joke, same with the South Coast League and the Moore. No one cares about their league games and certainly no one would consider them top leagues in the country. The South Coast League was relevant when Tesoro and San Clemente could challenge MV and very relevant going back to the El Toro, Capo, MV days when the league title was always up for grabs.

Laying 50 point beatdowns doesn't make MD and Bosco look good, it makes the league look weak. No one would mistake this as the best league in the nation anymore. It's a league with 2 extraordinary teams and not much else, much like the Moore league is with 1 team. Now Servite fans may argue that they are a great team, but they received one of those beatdowns last year and it looked bad.

Servite does have a great team this year but they will likely lose 2 games. Being ‘great’ is relative. MD and Bosco are outliers so compared to them you can say everybody sucks. Last year Centennial was VERY good and they got destroyed by MD and Bosco. The Bosco/Servite game this weekend is very compelling since Servite has demonstrated how explosive their offense is, while Bosco’s defense has been somewhat exposed by Sierra Canyon and SM. On paper this game looks like a shootout.

My bad. One of the two will get two wins...one each against OLU and then I assume they have to have a win or a loss against each other.

Yeah the kid really should get serious about building his body. Could be a great QB but need to be durable long enough to find out. Who knows, maybe the kid is really trying/doing work to gain weight, some just struggle to get weight on them.
