I know the trouble of putting on weight through the high school years, some just burn calories at a much higher rate. You would just hate to see a 6'5" 230 OLB engage the youngster in a backfield meeting. Football in the Trinity.

Hey, asking for a friend: how big is the QB at Servite? The kid that was the First Team All Trinity League QB, and the California state Junior Player of the Year? Rumor is he’s 5’9” 170 lbs, but might just be rubbish ...

Thought you were comparing Fifita to Potter size.

SM is fourth.
Could move up next year when the Boyz from LosAL transfer to SM

I'm pretty sure a few transfers won't get anyone close to MD/Bosco. They have entire classes of players coming in for years now. Sure, it makes most league games unwatchable but the game has changed for them, they have Division 1 prospects at 2nd and 3rd string.

Honest question, would Los Al have competed with the top of the Trinity League last year?

No,
But the top LosAl guys and the current SM team would give Servite a great game.

Bosco and MD are on a completly diferent level.................

5'9" 170 and 6'4" 170 are two different animals or humans depending on the way you phrase it.

Interesting rumor, since the JSerra starting QB from last season, just recently
transferred into SM. I don't think he would do that is Nelson was transferring
into SM.

Welcome to Trinity, where your replacement may transfer in at any time. SM days of competing at the top are over. The gap between MD/Bosco and Servite is close, but we will see if Servite can sustain after this group of boys. The next gap between Servite and SM/OLU/JS is so much wider. The days of SM/JS competing with those teams are a 3-4 year rebuild away, if ever. JS and OLU have new coaches so we'll see what they can recruit. SM/JS battling for 4th and OLU may never be the same. Any word on MV future? Loss to SC and a lot of boys aging out. Could see some transfer from MV to privates? Or MV drinking the koolaid still?

Dylan Mills would have beat Jason Potter out for the starting QB job this upcoming season.
That's why Potter transferred!!!!!

I'm sure Dylan Mills will enjoy running for his life. I felt bad for Potter last year, he had zero time to throw.

But when he had time, Potter didn't have accuracy.

Bosco picked up RJ Jones and JShawn Frausto-Ramos from Alemany. 2023 Bosco class is insane.

Lets see what Mater Dei does next.

Geeeeez! The rumors of this have been out there since April but clearly Jason Negro is not letting that MD loss go over lightly!!

#DESTINATIONBOSCO =D> LOL the Braves spiking the football on a little “roster enhancement”

Bosco going all in on the transfers like it’s 2019!! And picking up star recruits with easy-to-admit transcripts from local parochial schools ... with 2 years to play! This is next level stuff people.

Hard to believe they even needed to do this, because the Fall 2021 team is so stacked with top D1 prospects already, at every spot in every class. ESPECIALLY at DB where they return all 4 starters (Harley, Hala, Beasley, McClain) and where every BACKUP has D1 FBS/Power 5 offers (Ryan Tuaolo (former transfer), Ty Lee, Peyton Woodyard, Celles Williams).

That’s not to mention other returning kids at DB who are solid high school players that got snaps in Spring 2021 (i.e. Elias Archie) or young talented DB recruits already coming up in the program (Tamal Johnson, Frankie Edwards, Quimari Shemwell, Rayjohn White, Kevin Longstreet, Dillon Rickenbacker). What happens to THEM now?? That’s a LONG line to wait in just to get reps at PRACTICE.

#BraveNation’s raid of Alemany HS for a National Top 100 4-star safety recruit (Jones) and a 4-star cornerback (Frausto-Ramos) will likely cause a domino transfer portal effect over there on Bellflower Blvd. Expect to see some of these kids end up at their neighborhood schools or on a less overflowing private school depth chart. Good news for the Downey Warrens, Long Beach Polys and Bishop Amats of the area ...
