No one in this thread mentioned anything about rules being broken

Yet the school gets criticized for operating completely within the same rules that everyone is bound by

No one is saying that kids can’t transfer

Yet the kid and his family get ripped for doing what they have every right (some would even say obligation) to do

With all due respect, that sentence proves you are absolutely clueless about what is going on in this league

And he's not alone...those who do know are just sour-grapes hypocrites :2cents:

Just because something is legal does not make it right or good for the game. Just because something is permitted, doesn’t make it good for the athlete or the game. We cannot always rely on the rule makers to legislate every conceivable possible behavior under the sun. At some point there should be some self regulation.
Have you ever watched videos of those HS basketball games where there is no shot clock and the team in the lead holds the ball for several minutes While everyone in the crowd yawns? Legal? Yes. Good for the game? No. Within the spirit of true competition? No. The people complaining are going with this rationale. It’s not that hard to understand.

Omar, it seems like you are arguing with yourself.

Again, no rules broken. Transfer away but don’t play league games anymore. Go away and let the regular teams play. No one wants to see MD beat JSerra with their own players next year. No one.

You can play a 10 OOS games schedule and prove how great you are. Don’t play Villa Park or anyone else in OC.

You are that guy!!!
Everything changes so come back after it does.

Something bad happened with JSerra’s complete program if that many players left the school.

Servite looks like they got the best transfer.

JSerra issues start with the face of the program from what I hear. Yes the money man left but not all of the kids who have left we’re with him. 18 total kids now and more after semester is over. 18 cancers? I find that hard to believe. I have met some of those kids at camps and 7on7’s and they were pretty well behaved. Those hires were hail Marry’s to save some kids after private meetings in December. However it didn’t work. It sounds like there is also some major distrust between the HC and his staff that is remaining as of now. Isn’t culture a reflection of leadership? Just seems like there is something not right there...

Your BB shot clock comparison is nonsensical, to put it mildly. That's the best you can do?

You want to be the arbiter of what's "best" and impose your beliefs on others?

It should be about people wanting to do what's best for their kid and their future, but you want to tell them they can't because...of a football score?

No one, huh? I guess the stands are gonna be empty then?

(P.S. Another spokesperson for all? Do you guys have a union?)

Careful, your motivations are showing

Could you explain the magical power of a school's street address?

It does sound like its an "all of the above" situation.

When kids leave for Huntington Beach-you have a real problem.

Tony Gonzalez... the best high school tight end I've ever seen play in person. And he could hoop also!

Oh, so JSerra is a "regular" team? You're hilarious. Translation: "Regular" is whatever YOU decide it is; which is, of course, one less transfer than MD or SJB has.

For those of us uninformed, what is happening over at Jserra that’s causing this exodus?

How is it nonsense? Is Harvard or Yale preventing people from doing what they want or living their dream or do they simply have enrollment standards? So anytime you don’t open the floodgates to your institution to everyone without any standard, then you are against school choice? Your argument is weak.

In the simplest version "the money man has left" which means most of the quality kids leave too lol

Now you've veered off the plane of reality. Allow me to quote SK's sig line - "don't try to tell people what I think when they can read what I actually said and I won't return the favor, okay?"

Sounds like JSerra just brought in two money men that played in the NFL and can go get any kids they want. Three if you count the head coach

WHat's HB's record been the last 20 years? Gonzalez is probably the last pro they had- a long long time ago.

Are you speaking of out of the JSerra kids? Burnett is not the best transfer of the group - Te'o, Sammy Green and Maseuli are before Burnett. Will see if Burnett can be aided by someone who can get him the ball - which we think he will, But he needs to be at tight end most of the time, and not at WR. JSerra tried utilizing him at WR and wasn't successful as they'd hoped.
