BoscoBrave wrote:You act like you’ve tried to get a schedule filled for Bosco before. Believe me, Bosco isn’t dodging anyone and when you start realizing that you will come to realize they can only schedule teams that WANT to play outside of league. It’s a pain in the ass getting games.
OCurbanlegend wrote:Source of the post Well you need more information. Problem is Bosco does not take on all comers they are measured when they make their schedule. They could have played IMG last year but dodged it , then this year in their own tournament they gave MD and Jserra tougher opponents than they took on themselves. So yes it is hard to schedule games if you are MD and Bosco but not that difficult if you really challenge the toughest teams. For example I know St. Frances could not find games this year but clearly Bosco wanted no part of that as for Allen everyone that knows, knows they will be down this year.
As for local games the main reason no local teams will schedule Bosco is the blatant disrespect of running up the score on teams to pad their QB's stats as well as other players. They leave their starters in until the bitter end even when up by 50 points. That's the biggest criticism by local opponents outside of Trinity league play.

Although He did have a game finder head hunter help set up the game, travel plans, marketing etc...

All of us thought that Milton should play JSerra, the weakest of the three Trinity teams, to be fair. SFA had to play MD because SFA isn't flying in until Friday night.
And note that each year the event will shift to another Trinity school. In 2020, MD is hosting.

Also their coach of 29 years, Bill McGregor, who the NFL once named the best in America, returns for this year. Previous record was 280-43 with 9 USA Top top 25 year end rankings. Only DLS had more over this time.
DeMatha has also played in CA before but it was in the late ‘70’s.
The game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN.
