All due respect ...fathersonholyholdbacks....this Chris Carter has already beat out all these guys as a 15 yr old true Soph. My nephew was on the JV squad last season. The Carter kid would get sat down by 3rd quarter because he had already put 40-50 points on the board...passing! Rocket Launching arm, precision and SUPER calm in the pocket.

My thoughts are those others mentioned are good in their own right, but Carter is next up...then these others. Google his highlights Chris Carter hudl Bosco...I just did

The next Bosco QB is not on the current roster. None of the guys they have are considered next man up, and that includes Steve Clarkson son, who's really not all that

Bosco knows that Clarkson's son is not legit but they want all the other guys Steve will bring to the school to surround his son. Bosco is hoping they can bring in enough guys to win in spite of Clarkson's kid or if they decide not to play Clarkson's son that they can find a way to keep all the kids that Steve has brought to surround his son. It would be great for the rest of the Trinity league if Bosco decides to roll with the Clarkson kid Junior year. It won't happen before then if it happens at all.

 ](*,) Wow, no disrespect to the kid, because he seems like he is a good athlete and may help them at another position, but Chris Carter the Minnesota Viking will be the QB at Bosco before the current kid there.

As for Pierce Clarkson, whose first name some of you don’t even seem to know (“Steve Clarskon’s son”), there’s a reason the initial Bosco 2023 QB recruit is now playing at Los Al. Negro brought in Pierce (and Steve) knowing it would send Malachi Nelson elsewhere — as Malachi could easily read the writing on those white Bosco walls. And it might break some of MD’s stranglehold on the Duck kids.

There is no way Bosco would essentially drop a QB prospect that talented after spending that much time recruiting him, only to not play the kid they chose instead (Clarkson).

But yeah, sure, it’s gonna be a transfer to be named later, ok. Unless that transfer is Maalik Murphy or Tate Martell himself, I don’t see it. Big Steve Clarkson ain’t walking around Panish Stadium like he owns the place for no reason, like he was at the Trinity classic.

Already rumors of Los Al, 2023 QB Malachi Nelson , not happy at Los AL 0-3 , but gonna ride this season out , get this varsity experience and bounce out of Los Al as soon as season is over.
Rumor is he could be wearing blue and yellow for a div4 team next year..

0-3?? Gotta be all hype. Cant imagine that is Bosco worthy. Sounds like blue and yellow, La Mirada???
QB, is a senior. LM has dropped off from beating top teams and winning state, to losing to St. Margarets.
Time to rebuild!

I’m hearing the opposite talk... That he’s loving loving all aspects of Los Al and looking forward to the possibility of building something special

Props to Los Al for having a tough pre-season schedule... Also Nelson hasn’t started any game yet

Moschetti is back at LM. Good time to transfer in.

So, alot of Daddy ball going on over there at Bosco??? Sounds like most schools in high school today.
When are we going to get coaches that are loyal to the game, not daddy's pocket book, or black book.
Respect is earned!

LM and Moschetti, going after Malachi, to go with talented underclassmen.
Los Al is a shell of their old selves, but of late seem to be turning it on.
One thing Moschetti will do, is get these kids tons of college offers, and not that the kid from Los Al needs it, but could be a option. Just like Jake Garcia at Narbonne, could be a option?? Sounds like once the season is over, there will be alot of moves. Im sure these coaches texting fingers are ready to fall off.

Daddy Ball at Bosco? Then why didn't Yellen and all his dad's millions stay at Bosco? Why did Costelli Leave? Why did lyttle Leave? Why did Baldwin leave? Why did Stupin leave? The list of these QB's goes on. It's all because they want to START NOW bottom line. They rather go to a inferior team and play. Why did Nelson leave? Because he saw his competition so he went to Los AL. Why didn't a state champion Re-al actually quit? Because he was beat out by a sophomore (watch QB1) its evident. Doesn't sound like daddy ball to me.

Do you think Malachi left because of Clarkson? I hope not. He's better than Clarkson

But it worked out for him. He wouldnt have received the offers he has now, and he would not have started next season, based on who's coming in. But then perhaps Bosco would have gone with Malachi next year, which i doubt.

Malachi made the right decision.

Those are all real good points , on Bosco. The QB, NOW, stole the job from Real Mitchell. The coaches caved to daddy, and outed Mitchell. They were thinking about the next 3 years / possibilities, which did pay off.
That was a big gamble. Taking a successful senior, and benching him for a sophomore, with a list of kids that were following him, alot of family, and Bosco was going to get a bad image or rep, if they didnt cave. All the needed to say , was, we are gonna go to Mater Dei. OHH,, WAIT A MINUTE! WE CAN WORK SOMETHING OUT.
Take a seat real! Every other kid on the team that played QB, saw the writing on the wall, and went elsewhere. Smart move! Why die a slow death on a sideline, with nowhere to go, except the clip board, or cards. Daddy ball, all sorts, all kinds of angles. no doubt DJ is the second best QB IN THE NATION, so that was a smart move. But, Daddy pushed the envelope and mitchell took a seat. Very unfortunate for a senior, who was loyal.

Bottom line was in 2017 the offense was better with DJ at the helm...Mitchell had more interceptions than TD passes

And some Bosco guys might know more about this, but as for being "loyal" I'm pretty sure Mitchell refused to contribute at another position (some would say faked an injury) after he was replaced...

Sorry I must disagree. It was clearly evident that DJ was better. As much as we like to diss Big Dave, this was not Daddy ball. DJ was better than Mitchell and it’s as simple as that. I give credit to the Bosco coaches for benching the returning starter in favor of the younger but far superior player.

You have to wonder what DJ might have been at MD
