Chad Johnson and the Diablos now have a nice pair of bookEnds in Schwenke and Lance Keneley. Really classy of Chad to help those poor Santa Margarita refugees find a new home over at MVHS.

Dan Albano will have a transfer update out by the end of the week, unless he’s waiting for Gregory Doyle to confirm his transfer from SM to JSerra so he can make it a full blown “SM Football Exodus” article.

Pat Harlow and Bad Chad pillaging RSM like Blackbeard and Davey Jones.

Who cares about south county air raid, when the street raid is full effect!
Jserra
MV
Then who??? Is this why they cant hire a coach at Capo valley?
What can San Clemente do? Did they get any of those SM kids?

Unless Jaime Ortiz needs another D1 college recruit at QB. Then he’ll take a kid from Mission Viejo/Santa Margarita who’s headed to his third high school. :-$

Albano is like clockwork in following up on confirming board reported transfers ...

DA didn’t wait to discuss the SM Exodus, although it looks like it’s not over. He even compared it to the Servite -> Bosco migration of last spring. Less transfers and a different level of talent in that case (2 Wisconsin Badgers and an AA Bowl selection/Washington Husky signee).

Interesting comments here by Mission Viejo DL Keanu Tannuvasa celebrating the arrival of his youth ball buddy Logan Schwenke:

“Just waiting for a couple more”?? From SM? Bad Chad on the HUNT :-"

Coach Vieselmeyer announced the first three hires to his staff. Tim Holt, former assistant offensive line coach with the Oakland Raiders, will work with the linemen at SM. Luke Del Rio, son of former Raider Head Coach Jack Del Rio, will coach tight ends. Luke played for Vieselmeyer at Valor Christian and played at Alabama and Florida in college. Jeff Love, an assistant coach with Vieselmeyer at Kansas University, will coach the quarterbacks at SM.

Holt and love certainly seem like good football hires. Who know about del rio as he’s never coached. Ultimately the biggest test will be more about getting players than their coaching abilities. Fisher was I think a good coach but did a really poor job at bringing and keeping players. You can be the greatest coach in the world and you would have lost to mater dei last year with Santa margaritas roster.

That is what I miss about the way HSF use to be. Basically coach with what you have not with what you can get.

Last time i checked, all these big name coaches cant suit up and play. It will be great and impressive with the big names , until the league games start. Then , all the hustlers and rattle snake salesman take over.
Out of area, ? I would consider Wilmington out of area. Look at JSERRA,free bus rides from IE, LA, OC, to come and play, then leave once the season is over. See Rancho cucamonga., See Rossevelt, etc...
First question is... You all bus?? What public schoool can afford that transportation system? Food,
What is CIF DOING ABOUT THIS? 4 SCHOOLS, 4 YEARS, 3 SCHOOLS, 3 YEARS, whatever it is, it is not Loyal.
This is high school football, not JC, NOT 4 YEAR UNIVERSITY, but a school that is in a city, where LOCAL people live and spend their tax dollars.

Coach Vieselmeyer needs to convince his former boss Jack Del Rio to join the staff. He could work with the linebackers while he waits for USC job.

That is true a junior to be. He's a lefty. SM will be his third school. Kid came from Utah.
