Obviously, you have no clue.

The people at MV know that Costelli has been stinking up the place. No one there can explain why he has been so bad since arriving. There is a reason why he has no offers. Even the new SM QB has an offer. Lol, maybe he should be ahead of Costelli on the list.

Fifita won a national championship? They only played 8 teams that entire year and proclaimed themselves national champs. He is a 5'6 QB and played in one varsity game last year and that puts him on this list? He is a great 7v7 QB but trinity league is a different story. Hopefully the kid survives the season.

The SM QB could not beat out the 2 bad Sr QBS at Centennial. He does have an offer and the other 2 QBS have no offers and he could not beat either QB out? I guess Logan saw how good he was and encouraged him to transfer, lol. How is he going to survive on a bad SM team with no O-line and he is not a very good athlete? They are better of playing the more athletic freshman QB.

I guess you missed the point. Shocking.

You're trashing a bunch of 15 and 16-year-old kids from behind a keyboard because whatever kid you're living vicariously through didn't get mentioned by some random guy in a high school message board thread. You're the biggest kind of d bag.

The kid is 6'3" and runs a 4.65 and can throw the ball a mile. He should get looks. He looks great with no rush or against cones. When the real bullets fly, is when colleges should look closer. 54% completion percentage. 2 Varsity wins. 3 High Schools. It's still just potential now. If he can put up stats against the better teams on their schedule and look good against their 1st Round opponent, he will get legit offers. If not, it will be the Nebraska's and Arizona's that are hoping that he matures into something more than a back-up to their first choice.

My 2 cents. The best QBs at Scandrick were the Mater Dei guy, La Habra, and Los Al. And whoever plays Qb at Western will have weapons to throw to.

Love it 6Man! "the Mater Dei Guy"! Ya that guy!

This past weekend saw a gathering of the best QB's in high school and college at the Steve Clarkson QB retreat

Clemson freshman and recent national championship quarterback Trevor Lawrence was on hand for the third year in a row along with several other talented signal callers including Shea Patterson (Michigan), Jacob Eason (Washington), Dorian Thompson-Robinson (UCLA), Khalil Tate (Arizona), Hunter Johnson (Northwestern), Ryan Hilinski (South Carolina), Brady White (Memphis), Sam Ehlinger (Texas), Spencer Rattler (Oklahoma), Kellen Mond (Texas A&M), Josh Love (San Jose State), Chase Garbers (Cal) and Jalen Hurts (Oklahoma) just to name a few.

Gathered here representing the southland and our own OC high school QB's.....

SteveClarksonQB.png

Get use to the name Maalik Murphy! He aired a pass 74 yards..... Class of 2022

Zanelli - Reminds me of Brock Johnson of MV, just wins, puts up the numbers and getting alot of love from IVY league schools. Nothing wrong with getting a degree from Yale or Harvard. I must say, it is kind of mind boggling that schools like Davis, or SDSU, UNLV, etc.... Havent offered. I get it, hes not 6'3, he doesnt run a 4.5, but damn is this kid a student of the game, smart, strong arm, makes good decisions, sees the whole field. He has the tape vs good teams and skilled guys like Upland, Calabasas, Mission Viejo, Notre Dame. But guys with no tape are getting these D-1 offers?
Upside? Its like giving these guys these huge contracts, before they even prove anything, then they end up like Johnny football and OUT. Someone better recognize! :mex:

Makes sense. But you gotta remember these coaches livelihoods depend on the players they recruit. If they miss on a non-prototypical guy, they're fired, period. If they miss on a prototypical guy there's less blame on the coach. It takes a special coach to risk his job on non-prototypical players and win... Peterson from UW/Boise comes to mind.

@HTL - Brock is now at UC Davis. So maybe Zanelli can tutor under him if they are similar in play. Ryan is 6'2" so his size isn't an issue, to me he has enough tools and my best guess is more offers will eventually roll. If not no doubt nothing wrong with an Ivy League education.

@KuppRun - Premium Sports is a training, gaming, competition event oriented and marketing organization. It is events, camps, games they market that get the kids exposure. These organizations are part of or another vehicle in the advancement or progression of high school sport. Debate if it is a good or bad thing :eh?:

@TomD - Name of the game, find the next Tom Brady!

Happy to say I am :D that Petersen and Husky OC Bush Hamden came hard at E. Garbers, it's been great watching Hamden on campus and at various events, competitions. Washington has 5 QB's at the moment but the two redshirt Freshman put their names into the transfer portal. maybe they see something! Tough position to succeed.

Were you trolling us with this comment? Please just tell us it was your kid that COstelli took the job from so we can feel better.

Funny how dudes like you come in here and tell people they have no clue, and then said kid you bashed gets a Nebraska offer, and you vanish conveniently.

Oh, that kid who has stunk also just picked up an offer from Arizona and Oregon State today.

Why are you here when its obvious a big time power 5 team should hire you to evaluate talent?

Costelli can always switch to WR, if he doesn't make it at QB, he ran a 10.82, 100M; at the
CIF prelims,I believe and this was his first year at track and field, they say...

Well, well, well, Costelli picked up a Oregon offer. Where you at Diesel17?

"but, but, but he has been stinking up the place."

That didn't age well. Hasn't even been 6 days since that comment.

Tom- / sk80
No doubt. Peterson is a guru, and so is a guy like pete carrol. Finding guys like russel wilson, matt grootegood, etc...
always finding diamonds in the ruff. On that note, i know of a fifth grader who is legit, willing to lay it all on the line.
Tremendous upside, parents are both 6'0 and 6'4, kid already benches 80 lbs, and on that Cane.
Premier, UTSC, Stars, proway, Rharebreed, all on it , full rides. High school coaches selling their souls for this kid.
Times at 4.7 in the 40. :giggle:

Go easy on Diesel17. He may be right. The kid could look terrible now and still be getting looks from these school. He was practically colorblind at SM's camp last year He turned the ball over a million times, but they saw potential. He's got the physical skills and has been working the QB camp circuit since he was in 8th grade, so the offers shouldn't be a surprise. But offers don't make you a great QB (or in this thread, a top 5 QB in OC.)

Remember Ricky Towne, Travis Waller? Tons of offers and they couldn't get it done in pads when it mattered.

Let the kid play in some high-level games and see what he's got before you trash him or praise him.

DBTG I don’t think any kid deserves to be trashed for trying to play this game tonthe best of their ability.
