Who is on deck tomorrow? I assume Don Bosco isn’t bringing their lower levels to LA to play SJB, nor SJR to play JSerra. Is MD really playing VP on frosh/JV level?
Yes they are. MD freshmen has games lined up against other teams when the varsity team travels to Arizona and DC and when they play St Frances.RedPillWonderland wrote:Is MD really playing VP on frosh/JV level?
Here is the freshmen schedule.
Wow. Well I’m sure the frosh staff will be respectful of the VP staff tomorrow. And Sierra Vista/RC. The Cathedral Catholic matchup should at least be competitive, and a fun road trip for the kids.
Looks like MD’s JV doesn’t even play for a couple of weeks until the RC game. Are they really only playing 2 preseason games? Why not VP or Cathedral Cath? Is VP going to combine their frosh/JV against MD’s frosh?
SJB Braves destroyed LBPoly JV. Last I read it was 55-0 at the half
If the JV and Frosh teams are that great...imagine how the Varsity is. Time to stop scheduling these games. Someone could get hurt.
They played Cathedral Catholic.RedPillWonderland wrote:Good Lord. Looks like Matt Logan may need to go the transfer route again next offseason.
While on the topic, Servite beat JW North at both levels
Lol ok, my bad, CC overload. Apparently Centennial JV was busy putting 100 on OLu.
Still surprised at that big a gap between JSerra’s LL teams and a good program like Cathedral Catholic. It’s not like the Lions were playing Carlsbad High’s frosh/soph.
Trinity Lg on frosh and JV levels is going to be interesting once they stop slaughtering these (mostly) public schools.

The offensive line is massive and talented and they have a tremendous running back Eric Denham and receiver in Raymond Valencia. It will be interesting to see what happens vs Mater Dei.
For anyone interested, rumor has it that after the Bosco/JSerra JV game was forfeited by JSerra last week, JSerra played some of their sophomores from JV in the frosh game against Bosco, contributing to the 34-0 Lions W. Not sure if that is true, anyone care to comment? A JV forfeit, followed by (allegedly) using JV kids in a big frosh win to stay in first place at that level? Dirty poker by Harlow?RedPillWonderland wrote: Yes but how did Bosco not SCORE?! The Braves have been hyping their freshman class since the spring. Steve Clarkson’s kid Pierce started the season as the frosh QB and they were killing people. Did everyone get moved up to JV or is Jason Negro going to have to hit that transfer wire harder than ever in January?
Will be interesting to see the result of the frosh and JV games between Servite and JSerra this week.
